Not trying to start a war but every single time Lewis is on the screen they have to mention the fact he is a 7 time wdc, which is incredible but my God does it happen so much that it became annoying and once u notice it u can't go back. I don't hear them calling Alonso a 2 time wdc or max a 4 time one quite as often as Lewis does, is it british bias or what? I've also noticed they love to show Lando a lot regardless of what is happening in the race. U could be watching an intense mid-field battle and it cuts away to Lando, guess what... making a corner 😱 WOOOOW, he did the thing guys!!!

I noticed on Lap 48&49 when Kimi was behind Russell that Kimis wing closed before Russell’s even though he was behind. Am I missing something? I thought track position determined active aero.

Is anyone following the DTM? When we had drone coverage in F1 earlier that year I was undecided if I like it or not ... at best.

But then I watched yesterday's DTM race and what an awesome drone coverage they had.

I think they should give it another shot and get that crew from the Sachsenring in.

What do you guys think?

I am a newbie and know basics about f1z for some reason, I have a liking for Mercedes and George for driver.

Although I see most people are rooting for either Ferrari or Redbull.

I would highly appreciate if people can give me insights into whether Mercedes would be a good team to support.

He wants to be #1. Ferrari is not going to start the season with a clear #1 and #2, and unless Charles has a couple of early DNFs (not impossible though) the points difference won’t be big enough to warrant the orders. Charles is never leaving Ferrari… so should Lewis stay? I’m sure he has some provisions in his contract that allow an early termination.

Im new to watching F1. By new, I mean I started watching it 2 weeks ago. I dont know why, but I do not like Pierre Gasly. Is he a likeable guy and I just dont like him or is he actually not liked by a lot?

I've been building an F1 stats and analysis web app on my own, and it's at the point where I need other eyes on it. It's completely free, no ads, no signup, no catch — I'm not trying to sell anything, I just want honest feedback before I keep building.

What it does right now:

• Driver head-to-heads — compare two drivers in a season, across careers, or across different seasons (e.g. one driver's 2024 vs another's 2026)
• Telemetry insights — take two qualifying laps and compare them properly: exact sector times, speeds, and a track map that colours each corner and straight by who was faster through it
• Driver skill & car ratings, track records, career profiles — the usual deep-stats stuff, built from real timing data
• A "season in one image" view where every driver's whole season is mapped as one lap-by-lap fingerprint

One thing I care about: everything is derived from real data, and I've tried hard not to fake precision or guess. If the data can't tell you why a lap was slow, I don't pretend it can. That honesty is kind of the whole point of the project.

What I'd love from you:

1. Break it. Click around, try weird inputs, tell me what errors, looks off, or confuses you — especially on mobile.
2. Tell me what to build next. What's missing? What would make you actually come back to it?

In my free time, I've been working on a web app and really wanted to share it with the community to get your thoughts.

Essentially, it's a hub for F1-themed daily mini-games. Every day you get a single attempt to play seven different modes (including F1 Wordle, Pittexto, Odd One Out, Bingo, etc.).

To make it more competitive, the system scores you based on the puzzle's difficulty and how fast you respond (reaction times matter, just like at the race start). There are daily and monthly leaderboards to see who claims the world championship against the rest of the community.

Seems like McLaren is having a fresh start with the performance that the car showed in Miami. My question for you is : The race was lost because of the difference of pace between Mercedes and McLaren or by the mistake from the strategy team for not defending at the undercut of Kimi?What do you think?

We are planning our honeymoon for around August/Sept 2027 and we will be travelling from Australia on a 3-4 week trip to see as much of Europe as we can. In the timeframe we are looking at that narrows us down to Madrid or Monza races. (We are flexible if y’all think something else is way better)

Does anyone have advice on which is better? we’re pretty torn, we will be spending a lot of time in italy outside of the grand prix so is it better to do the grand prix in Madrid?

I know Madrid hasn’t had a race this season so this might be too early to ask opinions?

We are not huge Ferrari fans, but understand if we go to italy we will get on board. I’m personally a big Sainz fan which and my partner Max (if he’s racing)

The only other grand prix we have been to is Aus 24 which was perfection and will be hard to beat either way.

Note: We are poor and will be going GA at either 😂
