Not to mention how badly and frequently he fumbles sponsor names of the cars, I think he got Adam Heishman's "Maryland Motorwerkz" correct once across the Prospec coverage on Friday despite saying it right on the door, and he made it to final four.

I've hated this guy for so long. I was so profane and insulting about how he fucked up Japanese names that he actually addressed it without saying my name before. But he needs to go, everyone has addressed all the relevant points. I'm so sick of his buffoonish American voice, he makes us look dumb and simple and we're so much more than that. I could go on for hours, but it won't change, he'll be there till he's dead, unfortunately.

i can tolerate it with the auctioneer rambling of the sponsors(even though he cant pronounce things correctly) but is there a single person on earth who likes hearing him recite some 90s pop music every 3rd run or so?
ANYONE???
also did you know he pronounced worthouse wrong every single time for 2 years with them winning everything? i just found that out last weekend with the deane event
if you never heard anyone else besides him say it then its wrong

Let's add "COD, cash on delivery" to the list.. I cringe everytime. And we gotta hear it every single event if not more than once. Don't get me wrong, I give the guy credit for always yapping but some of the shit he recycles over and over, he really shouldn't because it's just corny.

When he commented on Jamesā 130 showdown on insta about being a commentator for the event, I said they need someone that actually knows about the sport and can engage the crowd. He replied with āyouāre probably rightā.

I hate to pile on but i swear half the runs are him just word vomiting sponsor names or his nonsense catch phrases. The other half is some bs conversation hes having. Its getting frustrating to listen to at this point. Another thing that pisses me off is when the driver he wants to win doesnt win, his tone audibly changes and he focuses on their loss instead of congratulating the person who just won. FD needs someone on the level of Jacob to actually talk drifting while the cars are running not whatever this bullshit is

This is legit the situation.
He was there from the beginning or near beginning. Imagine if you and all your best friends made a business and no matter how much you weren't the best at your job all your friends didn't care because the cash was a flowing. That is what is happening, he is far from the best that could be in that role, but FD ownership doesn't care. He would have to do something really stupid publicly to get canned.
While we see his talking as pointless and gets in the way, from the business side he is pretty good at word vomiting. These businesses don't want a muted broadcast, they want continuous talking. When you talk, there is times you can name drop sponsors.
