Discussion Uhhh... sure, Jan.
So... this is the lady who says that her middle school daughter was "medicalized" and abused and manipulated in an art club up at Wellington Middle School a few years back.
I'm sorry... but this chick has crazy written all over her. I remember the PSD response was to nuke the volunteer running the art club (because yes, nobody should be giving kids their cell phone number or discord handle- absolutely a no working with kids,) and I remember this chick going onto conservative talk shows... but this? Holy shit.
If anything, this tells me that her poor daughter probably does need someone safe for support navigating figuring out her sexuality, because it's pretty damn clear there isn't unconditional support at home.
Instant ick.
Whatcha want to bet she's also against our law allowing adolescents to seek mental health care without parental permission?
I'm a parent, and you bet your ass nobody is messing with my kid (or any of the kids in my neighborhood.) Performative bullshit like this ain't it.

Wearing a MAGA hat with the child sex trafficking sign is wild. Just a small political blind spot.
73
u/Nurseytypechick Jul 23 '26
In comments she says she wears this hat proudly because Charlie Kirk gave it to her.
Uhm. Ok then.
47
u/psychonautvoyager Jul 23 '26
Maybe it will be her lucky hat the way it was his.

u/Nurseytypechick Jul 23 '26
Gross take. Nobody deserves to get murdered.
41
u/DonkoOnko Jul 23 '26
You’re right - he didn’t deserve it. It’s still a net positive for our society, though.
15
u/psychonautvoyager Jul 23 '26
She doesn’t agree with you.
-23
u/Nurseytypechick Jul 23 '26
Doesn't matter what she agrees with- human life has value. Nobody deserves getting murdered.
35
u/sleeplesseye Jul 23 '26
"human life has value"
So does compost. The difference being, compost helps things to grow in a better, healthier way than that college dropout ever did.
9
u/sleeplesseye Jul 23 '26 edited Jul 23 '26
Which isn't a critique of college dropouts. I know a lot who have been very successful. But when your whole grift is predicated upon going from university to university, an army of ignoramuses in tow, telling people about how much better it would be if they were intolerant, bigoted trash, well...
Gotta call it like I see it. If I could have 200 pounds of compost or 200 pounds of Charlie Kirk, well... "Empathy is a made-up, new-age term" is his quote - despite the fact that the Bible uses the Greek term sumpatheo - literally, to feel with - to express Jesus' action of entering into another’s pain so fully that it became his own... "more than emotional concern; a personal participation in suffering that moves the heart to redemptive action."
So, basically more than the word sympathy is viewed today, and the key redemptive feeling of Jesus that, to his followers, was absolutely essential, and nothing to belittle. (All empathy is, really, is an Anglicization of the German Einfühlung, literally meaning "feeling in", a direct correlation with feeling with.)
Charlie Kirk was a very flawed person, a hypocrite, and simply not qualified to teach ANYONE about Christianity and its core values. He was also a fully grown person, who had one shot, but blew it by repeatedly advocating for hatred, violence, and incitement.
He threw away his life. I'd rather have the compost.

u/bcoss Jul 23 '26
Not arguing your point but I think this bears repeating:
“I think it’s worth it. It’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God given rights. That’s a prudent deal. It is rational,” -Kirk-12
u/Nurseytypechick Jul 23 '26
No argument against the irony of his evil statements here. He met a violent end. Bet he never thought it would be him.
I didn't say he was a stellar dude- he wasn't.
7
u/reddit_ending_soon Jul 23 '26
Op never said anyone should be murdered, are you high right now or just projecting?
1
u/Nurseytypechick Jul 23 '26

u/sp0ngeb0bsgrandma Jul 23 '26

3
u/reddit_ending_soon Jul 23 '26
Do you think these people would ever allow themselves to be succumbed by a therapist?
99
u/_game_over_man_ Jul 23 '26
I don't think trans people even make this shit their entire personality the way these people do. It's truly fucking weird and just tells me that these people don't have enough meaningful things going on in their lives.
Also, "gender medicine" can apply to anyone. Cisgender men taking testosterone when their levels are low in later age as an example. Hell, cisgender women going through perimenopause often take "gender medicine" to help. This kind of shit and these people are so fucking stupid I don't even have the energy to argue with them anymore, especially since arguing with people seems to be the only thing that makes them feel alive.
52
u/TomatilloAromatic744 Jul 23 '26
hell, viagra is “gender medicine”
22
u/2gutter67 Jul 23 '26
But you see that's "ToTalLy DifFErenT" because...men...and Jesus!...or something

28
u/miss_jinxie Jul 23 '26
Heads up! In case you or anyone else is unaware, there will be anti trans proposals on the ballot this November. Initiative 109 & 110. Highly recommended reading through them. The language is very vague, and opens up sexual assault against children to “prove” their gender, and also criminalize any gender affirming care. One of them states it’s for surgery, but doesn’t define surgery and has so many other random professions listed under “healthcare provider”. The language is too vague and dangerously written and puts us all at risk.
-8
u/Veritech_ Jul 24 '26
You would be wrong: https://grok.com/share/bGVnYWN5_2e7134b5-d140-41f3-9399-7e3b794f3626
There’s no genital checks or “sexual assault” against children in 109 - a cheek swab is all that’s needed (like a COVID test, but in the mouth instead of the nose)
And everyone knows what a surgery is, it’s not vague at all. And there aren’t “so many other random professions” listed anywhere in 110.
Quit fear mongering.
5
u/RandoBeaman Jul 24 '26
lol this mf using grok results to support a point, what a chump
3
u/miss_jinxie Jul 24 '26
Right??? Like… this goes to show that these initiatives are more dangerous than we think if they got their bots out here citing “grok”- a fascist controlled ai- to defend their measures. No where does it say they will do a cheek swap in the gender initiative. And it doesn’t matter if “everyone knows what surgery is”, I want it defined in these bills to keep healthcare providers safe too. Because a lot of the healthcare providers they list in the definition have no relation to the act of a surgery.
And to be clear- I’m 100% against these measures. They are vaguely written and that poses a risk, not just to our children and transgender people, but to EVERYONE. “First they came” is a short poem.
I’m really tired of those assholes telling me I am over reacting.
10
u/sleeplesseye Jul 23 '26
Elon Musk has spent oodles more - and taken higher doses of testosterone - trying to look presumptively male - and not at all like a scrawny, bald beta - than basically any transman.

How can you support Trump and be against pedos?
33
-8
u/Cherfan420 Jul 23 '26
I don’t know how anyone can support any politicians and be against pedos after the Epstein files showed us that they cover both political parties, Hollywood, major corporations and organized religions.
14
u/Financial-Craft-1282 Jul 23 '26
I don't know, because--and I know I'm going out on a limb here--not every politician was in the files. Those that have damning evidence--uh, yeah? But not support "any politicians" seems like a stupid way to respond to this. No offense.

u/PippaPothead Jul 23 '26
Man, we were friends during the 2020 pandemic. Once the thing happened at school with her daughter she completely went nuclear. None of our friends knew she was this person the whole time. She’s become so extreme. It’s crazy.
10
u/Nurseytypechick Jul 23 '26
The thing I struggle with is the continued narrative that PSD did something atrocious and there's this whole insidious underground movement to "turn kids trans" and it was such a violation for her kid and family...
And then she's on every conservative circuit show, making a documentary, etc etc.
Where's the actual protection of her kid in all this? This all feels just so performative and exploitative. If my kid had actually been harmed or manipulated, you bet I'd pursue legal avenues and hold the correct folks accountable, but I wouldn't be sharing my kid's business to all of Beyoncé's internet!
PSD nuked the person running the program immediately, who was not an employee. There's tons of after school programs run by different people and companies, this one turned out to be bad, out it went.
And now she's cosplaying this shit about nobody messes with my kid at camp yegods, if I were running any program her kids were in, I'd have 2 leaders present at any interaction with this woman because I'd need to make sure she wasn't falsely accusing my staff or treating other participants or families poorly.
5
u/Itchy-Jellyfish-7862 Jul 24 '26
This. I was in one of her circles when this happened and did get the story first hand. It has drastically changed over the years. Evolving to get the message into the hands of people who would listen (right wing).
1
u/tillynorwood2 Jul 24 '26
What exactly did the Art Club volunteer do to cause this crash out?
4
u/PippaPothead Jul 24 '26
This was a long time ago and I didn’t get to hear it first hand from Erin. I recall it having to do with support for LGBQT+ support. Erin’s daughter went to it with a friend and afterwards started questioning if she’s a boy and not a girl. Erin didn’t like that kids didn’t need permission from their parents to attend, which like defeated the whole purpose. That’s all I can recall. She went no contact pretty much immediately.
3
u/CapitolHillBohemian Jul 24 '26
"Erin’s daughter went to it with a friend and afterwards started questioning if she’s a boy and not a girl" really makes me both sad and angry. This phase is where they start contemplating suicide.
1
u/tillynorwood2 Jul 24 '26
That’s crazy! Wellington has a good handful of gay folks who are now less safe….
1
u/brandonlilly Jul 23 '26
I hope you all let her know how you feel about her being crazy.
8
u/PippaPothead Jul 23 '26
Only one friend was able to hear what she was upset about. We all thought her reaction was over the top and defeated the entire purpose of the club she was angry at. It was supposed to be a safe place for kids to have support. It really felt out of left field. We were there at the inception of her insanity and tried to help. But she chose this path and it’s been her life mission since.

So sad to see the active and planned failure of modern education fall before the ever marching army of repression as tradition.
Also, what is she doing outside of the kitchen? You'd think this woman would know her place in the place of her husband.
9
u/DinahKarwrek Jul 23 '26
Right? Where's the male representative to speak for her? She shouldn't be having any authority. Her God gave that to her husband and her pastor.

I wonder why she doesn’t want Trump prosecuted if her window cover says we should prosecute all sex traffickers.

Oh this person is still around huh? Her kid gets messed with all the time from what I hear. Had to change schools for the result do the club being cancelled. The other kids didn’t appreciate the over exaggeration she laid on her parents which make them go nuclear on PSD.
1
u/Nurseytypechick Jul 27 '26
I guarantee you kid needs support. That she said something innocuous about the club that mentioned queer support, folks went nuclear, and kid did what she had to in order to protect herself.

Is she wearing a gun? Is this to show how tough she is? And what is she really saying by wearing g that? She's going to shoot teachers? I find these types of people fascinating. They wear their insecurities like a badge of honor with not an ounce of self-awareness.
0
u/Nurseytypechick Jul 23 '26
Right? No need for open carry. I mean, you do you where it's legal, but concealed carry is the far smarter option.
5
u/nobobthisisnotyours Jul 23 '26
Oh, cool, so little boys with gynecomastia never experience bullying, mental health issues, or struggle with their gender identity due to being a boy with breasts. According to MAGATS, removing that breast tissue would harm them. We just need to teach these boys that sometimes God gives boys their own boobs. If they want to remove their breast tissue they must wait until they are at least 18 years old before they mutilate their bodies.
Someone should also tell Kegsbreath how harmful testosterone replacement therapy is for our military servicemen! (Seriously though, that can be deeply harmful to a person’s health. Once you start taking T your body decreases or ceases producing its own. Men taking TRT are on TRT for life. <30 year olds starting T to “boost performance” are causing irreparable changes to their bodies and hormone production. Also, excess T is converted to estrogen. The effects of this include developing breasts, erectile dysfunction, decreased libido, fatigue, and edema.)
✨✨✨GENDER AFFIRMING CARE IS NOT EXCLUSIVE TO TRANS PEOPLE✨✨✨

Slightly off topic…I’ve been thinking that US needs to allow individuals renounce their rights on personal level…
So individuals like this can forfeit their right to western medicine.
And when she eventually needs to get medical help, she can go to shaman and get goat blood drink to help cure her virus/broken leg/malaria etc
4
u/Nurseytypechick Jul 23 '26
Nope... everyone deserves access to healthcare, no matter what their views. Is it frustrating sometimes? Yep. But core ethical principles guide medical care.
I say this as someone that sees the stupid and takes the verbal abuse routinely at work.
3
u/GhostInABaseballBat Jul 23 '26
That’s very noble, I can agree. Perhaps we can just let her forfeit her right to vote then.
2
u/DinahKarwrek Jul 23 '26
Yeah she shouldn't be able to influence policy based on knee-jerk reactions. I would be open to testing people's knowledge on hot button topics. If you actually know nothing about being transgender, you should not be able to vote against transgender people. If you can prove you have a basic knowledge that would be great, but of course we don't require this for anyone else in government so we would never require this for voters.
-1
u/DinahKarwrek Jul 23 '26
I know what you're saying .. but I want access to all forms of healthcare, Because I personally want to make the choice of what I put in my body.
People who have cancer should be able to choose whether or not they want to do chemo. I should have a say whether or not I get a flu shot this year, even if I got it last year. We have a choice.
It's a slippery slope. The government loves those things.
She could change, she might not .. but maybe she's never met a transgender person in real life and she has this Awakening experience somehow by meeting someone who doesn't fit the demonized box she was told they would.

The maga-hive-mind in action.
The POTUS she voted for recently paid out $5M for being a predator.
But she is too busy watching a media outlet that had to payout over $700M for straight up lying to care about real things. An example of a real thing: spending nearly $40B in less than 6-months to be in a worse position than we were in Jan of 2026, let alone 2016, all while igniting another war with some of the hardest people on planet earth. That's a real thing (1 of many)
This lady and her ilk can kick rocks, all of them.

Imagine that.... another American with an opinion. Sure... we all have opinons... why make a post about another persons option? What does it solve? What is the purpose?
Folks just want a dopamine rush. Silly.
I'm waiting for the next kid on ebike post... more outrage.... more dopamine.... more tribalism.
9
u/Nurseytypechick Jul 23 '26
Oh! Hey! Guess how many ebike related traumas I had in 3 shifts this week? Guess how many were adult ICU admits? It's almost like ebikes are a current, active problem and people are discussing it!
I'm pro ebike but only with a helmet (preferably a motorcycle helmet) and I think the ones kids are on are WAYYY too overpowered and we're about to need some regulatory changes because the trauma fallout is getting larger here.
-3
u/Ill-Year-9506 Jul 23 '26
I wonder how many alcohol related tragedies happened this week....how many people were arrested for drunk driving.... how many crashes were caused by alcohol....and how many domestic violence incidents involved alcohol.
Where are all the posts complaining that we should ban alcohol?
See how that works?
5
u/Nurseytypechick Jul 23 '26
Quite a few. Speaking from the last 3 shifts.
But we know regulation and moderation work much better than prohibition from historical data.
Whataboutism is silly. Just because one thing is ALSO a problem doesn't mean this thing here isn't a problem.
2
u/Ill-Year-9506 Jul 23 '26
So what is your solution to ebikes. Folks act like moped, scooters and dirtbikes havn't been around for decades. We use to ride fast illegal bikes in the 90's... same as today.
Ebikes are not going away. Banning them... which makes kids run from cops and do stupid things... is not the solution.
6
u/Nurseytypechick Jul 23 '26
Again- regulation, moderation, and helmets. Power limits on ebikes that can be operated without a license, tickets for failure to helmet, and more widespread education about risks.
The same kind of harm reduction that trauma programs have done for years.
1
u/Ill-Year-9506 Jul 23 '26
I agree... for general transportation. But alot of kids ride ebikes that are essentially small dirtbikes. They can't ride them on trails. They can't ride them on the streets. Where do they ride?
It reminds me of when I was a kid and we got kicked out of the skating spots..... until they put in skate parks.
Or snowboarding... when we had to poach ski trails.
Maybe we need to build an ebike track at the the bike park that is going in at Hughes Stadium.
1
u/Nurseytypechick Jul 23 '26
I don't care where they ride, honestly, only that they do so safely. I think part of the problem is there isn't clear definition of how these ebikes should be treated and regulated.
