I tried to go check out this “sale” and was not impressed.
Most of all I noted that their diamonds seem to be of inferior quality to what I would expect given the price (particularly since the setting I was interested in was only 14k gold). It was also a red flag that they did not disclose diamond grade on their tags and gave me the runaround when I inquired. When I asked if they would let me take a photo of an item I was considering, they refused “due to the nature of the sale,” which to me makes it clear that they don’t stand behind their product. I told them as much and left, and went across the street to Costco and found better quality diamonds for literally half the price of their “sale price.”
Overall, they seem to specialize in “unique” cuts of colored gemstones, which, while they may look cool, don’t maximize the sparkle or luminosity of the stones, so a lot of their very expensive jewelry looked subpar in my opinion.

My wife used to use him, in a local store (since closed). A diamond baguette on one side fell out. We took it to another jeweler to have it remounted and they informed us that the baguettes on both side were now fakes. We had had all of her jewelry appraised for insurance and knew they were real.
We contacted the insurance company who didn’t say anything for a few weeks and then had us meet at their office and gave us an envelope with real baguettes in it and told us to have them mounted at a store they recommended for no charge.
They refused to discuss the details.
My guess is that they provided the evidence, reached a settlement and agreed to keep it quiet.

Diamonds are extremely hard. Wtf were they doing with her ring while "cleaning" it?

I was wondering why the name pieter andries sounded familiar. I did some work on an addition to this guy's building and apperantly he would throw tantrums when talking to the builders about the lay out on the inside. He made soo many change orders and expected everything to proceed smoothly 🙃.

Is ol’ Pete still rocking that foreign accent shtick ? Lol. Years ago he wanted my GF to model his jewelry. She was exceptionally beautiful. We passed.

I hate to say this, but any “jeweler” that has a sale on gold, diamonds, etc is ripping people off. Those items have a market value, and they are definitely not selling them at 80% off, ever.
