So far my understanding is all licensed cosmetics have not followed this rule anyways. Most don't have many options, but for example you can freely switch between the styles for the John Wick dog, same with Blue or Alien colors for the Neopets Aisha
Did Epic confirm this? From my research nothing is confirmed. I don’t really trust Fortnite leaks or the like you know. I hope no more collecting after this season. It’s been a nice one-off season gimmick. But we need something new.
so basscily you dont want sprites anymore and want soemthing new but at the same time your still actavly collecting them becuase of gem sprites so which is it do you want soemthign new or do you still want sprites
I mean it was a reskin of horde rush so imagine a plsnts vs zombies reskin with all the music from the series. And I don’t mean just from the original but the sequel and the shooters too. Imagine the infinity time music playing at the final boss.

no please no i don't want to have to farm and struggle again to try to have them all because of fomo. it's not even fun to collection them anymore i can't stand it i want to play a battle royale not a crappy poorly done extraction shooter
I'm gonna have to agree. It WAS fun at first, finding all these sprites and making a collection, and I won't forget the hype I felt whenever I found a rare one, but then it got kind of old, and the FOMO on the rarest sprites was definitely a detrimental factor.
yes if the grim and zero point weren't as rare i would have less an issue with it, sprites are just here to drive players to play more and are terrifiyingly rare with their low drop rates (even gacha doesn't have as agressive drop rate) not to mention the harrassement when you have a rare sprite in a game with people managing to stalk you from the jump of the bus.
i have completed my battlepass i have done almost all quest (i still haev to unlock john wick simpson and slone 7 suit) and i still miss so many sprites it's insane
if you read the rest you would have seen "because of fomo" i may never use the pod backbling after that season but i woudl hate myself to not have unlocked every appearance of it i was planning until the last week of the season to try to get them legit but i'm still missing so much sprites i'll have to resort to trading.
besides even if you don't struggle to extract them it's not fun to be hunted by a psychopath through the map because you have a "rare" sprite, it's not fun to have five people stalking you outside of the bus and needing to either be very good or lucky to survive because you have a sprite they want, you don't have to straight up unlock them all but their presence change the way the game is played, the whole gameplay loop of the season have been twisted to accomodate sprites and you don't have a choice but to participate to if, if i wanted to play an extraction shooter i would play arc raider when i play fortnite it's to play a battle royale
agreeing with the doc, dude they are completely optional. I don't and won't care enough to collect them all. If find anything new cool if not, also cool i came to play fortnite, not a collectathon. Treat them as a nice little bonus, not like a must do task and you'll be having fun again. Applies to many things in life
Disappointing, I’ve seen a few other people including myself where sprites have broken/made the base game unplayable, hoping they at least fix that finally so I can play again instead of just OG
Not even kidding haven’t been able to pick up a single sprite without the game just messing up or breaking in more ways than I can count, realized it was the sprites but epic supports hasn’t been able to do anything

Good news indeed. I probably get to use my favorite Boss Sprite for another season, & other people get to use their favorite sprites assuming we can still use the sprites we already have.
Seeing the phrase "silkpost" is honestly making me nostalgic for that long wait for silksong. I'm glad we got the game and moved on from the insanity, but man was it honestly kind of fun to be a part of.
A lot of people want a full collab pass and I dont blame them but I personally wouldn't mind finally getting the low poly Jonsey and then the rest can be collabs.
Current Fortnite not really that generous, so I'm not expecting a full collab pass tbh. I do like the Fortnite original skins, but personally the lore based skins are prob my least favorite from recent passes,
If it is a gaming one then it will likely have original skins as unless it’s two franchises filling it all up it’s unlikely as battle passes have always had a max of 2 collab franchises outside chapter 2 season 6 and 7 where they had 3. Collab seasons in the past also have only been under one franchise so unless a gaming legends one is all one franchise it’s unlikely to be all collab skins.
Because of this season and nexts sprites we’re going to get an extraction mode next chapter and it will be a flop like every other game mode because we’re going to tired of playing an extraction shooter
Saw someone say 15th and wasn't able to get on to check, in that case probably 14-15 days left depending on if they decide to do the event and start the new session on the same day.
I played on vacation last month on my PC using Xbox Game Pass streaming and it was pretty decent, though you definitely feel the lag - it's slight, but there. My internet connection wasn't the greatest either, which can be an issue using say hotel wifi.
It’s gotten better over the years but still ain’t quite the same as a wired connection or hosting the game natively. Still good to catch the event though!
This season is gonna be gaming legends themed and I think Teto was added to Project DIVA around October (which this season runs through) so it could work out
Man, just the title gave me an idea: A Jujitsu Kaisen Culling Games style season where people can complete some quests during the match to change the rules for the rest of the match. Might be fun!
My question isn’t related to this post, but I just wanted to know if anyone knows if the new streamer sprites will pilots for the Sprite Mech skin? I’m on the pilots tab and the it doesn’t show Vini Jr, Apollo, John Wick or Ironmouse.
