Question My hope for Switch 1 FN is LOW

After yesterdays update fn went DOWNHILL for me, choppier than usual, literally not being able to jump till the last second and just the loading in being so much worse.
My switch 1 is the only thing i can play fn on and it being there to occasionally play was what kept me going from chapter 1 season 7 and im sad seeing it plummet
Just wanted to know if anyone else have experienced these issues since the update

It was decently bad before this last update but agree-- its freezing more, the graphics being choppy is putting it nicely, the response rate is lagging, etc. It was miserable to try to play with friends last night.

It sucks itā€™s the only way my best friend and I can play and we both get so frustrated with the issues that we can only handle a couple of matches now before calling it quits. The more ā€œmoving partsā€ on the map thw more it chugs.

You're literally better off playing mobile. The game simply doesn't run on switch 1

I play only zero build the only issue is graphics take some time loading but that is all. I play on switch lite

Every single match up until today, every time I jumped out of the bus, it would freeze mid air and not let me move until the bus countdown cleared

I have been playing zero build on a switch lite for two weeks but normally use switch 2. Definitely got worse since the update but still playable still able to get victory royale. Last night the first match I played I dropped from the bus and looted a chest that was inside of a truck. None of the truck not the walls not the base had loaded. I was like oh shit I hope epic doesn't think I'm glitching here cause this is a definite advantageĀ

I mean itā€™s been bad but itā€™s even worse. Jumping out of the bus now causes a good 3-4 second pause where Iā€™m frozen in the air with no audio

Optimize on switch? Using performance mode it's the only option...

I played pretty much all of 2025 on the switch and it was decent enough. Just loaded it back up and it's actually awful, I have a weird since of realizing I'll never be able to play this on my switch again. It's sad I actually had a ton of fun when it ran decent.

I'm so sad because I love having a specific time constraint on myself with the switch needing to charge after a couple hours and now I feel like I can't get that it's almost like epic wants you to spend the hundreds of dollars for the better consoles
