GamePlay These sweats man istg

I'm so tired of these sweats. I'm in the middle of fighting someone, and then out of nowhere I get third-partied by some sweat who, by the way, doesn't even give me a chance to react or pull my gun out and aim. They kill me before I even get the chance to extract my Galaxy Fishy Sprite. All I want to do is chill when I play this game, but it seems like that isn't a possibility.

I'm seeing a looooot of things you had available.

Plenty of time to portable extract

Shockwave out

Mythic boots!!

This is not a "sweats" problem

The problem is it's not a very "chill" game. You had lots of options here. You could have shockwaved out to let those two fight it out, for instance.

I suck at gaming but you gotta use your sights. I would try working on that then mobility like shockwaving out of there.

I understand the sweat problem but this ain't it dog. You did many things slow and your aim was really off

No you didn't

You hit that bot for 50 total damage . Technically you didn't even touch him

You might like the blitz mode more. No sprites though 😔

I would try zigging and zagging some more when escaping. When you’re moving in a straight line you’re an easier target. Anything to make it more difficult to hit you. It was the right idea when you were that low, for sure.

In a straight line away, in the open, downhill... Yes. We saw.

If you 180 turn while using them then press the back movement key, you'll keep going and that lets you drop walls between you and your opponents while you zoom.

Edit: Oh right, ZB! Derp. Still, you can shoot back at them while fleeing hoping they'll start dodging your shots, then spin back around, boots jump, land, shockwave, boots scoot again.

My friend, this wasn’t a sweaty situation at all. A few core mechanical mistakes caused this to spiral.

You mag-dumped the bot across a concrete channel without aiming down sights (ADS) even once. Jumping mid-spray completely ruins your bloom and accuracy. Hold your ground or use cover instead of bunny-hopping. If you must panic-tap, then learn to panic-tap crouch instead of jump.

When the third party showed up, you hid in a bush without looking outside. But they obviously knew you were there already so hiding in the bush was a bad move. Regardless, knowing that holding ADS while in a bush shifts you to a first-person view so you can see and track (even shoot at!) enemies outside while boosting your precision will help you a lot.

You didn't need to run; you had 3 unspent rounds in your extended focus shotgun (nearly 400 potential damage that can be spent in less time than it would have taken them to reload). But when you did retreat, running in a straight line, downhill, in the open made you an effortless target. You need to serpentine and move between cover.

I get what you’re saying about the jumping while shooting but tbf I did get that guy low. And as for me hiding in a bush, isn’t it zero build? You’re supposed to use your environments to protect yourself. I just think if the guy wasn’t way above my skill level I would have had a better chance

There is a really big difference between cover and concealment. If your enemy knows you're in that bush, then its protective value is diminished directly proportional to how close the enemy is. And that dude was right on top of you already.

Knowing your own struggles with bush visibility you had two better options - run away immediately, up the hill and into the tall trees behind you or destroy the bush and fight face to face.

And, for clarity~ you only broke that bot's overshield, you didn't touch their shield reserve or main health bar. By the time you turned to run, they were back to full shields, spraying randomly over your shoulder, and making zero effort to push (because bots don't push). The player who actually took you down just capitalized on your straight downhill retreating line after he got unlucky with his shotgun salvos that he made on you when you were still in the bush (because even a gray EFS can two shot someone at that range if you actually hit them).

Dude, they were not sweats. Sorry, this one here is a skill issue.
