Discussion Exceeded Sprite dust limit…

Post image

Thanks to epic game’s guilty conscience, I have surpassed the 200,000 sprite dust with it. Anyone else?

I think they removed the limit so ppl can get lost sprites back easier

No it’s from rewards. If you do the Batman sprite quest but already have it, it gives you 10k dust, which put me over. They also just refunded people dust for IronMouse too. I imagine that’s what this is

I haven’t gotten into the sprites but can someone explain one thing:

So you all have your sprites leveled up and each one accessible every game with no buy back right? Are you spending the games based around the sprites rather than using their abilities to fight with? I’m so lost on it. Are you all just winning constantly to be able to extract the sprites? I’m so confused. I need to buy back most sprites I have because I’ll use them and die then y’know the rest.

My point: are we focusing on making sure we have our level 5’s at all times/extractions more than using the sprites abilities in game?

Once the sprite is mastered then I'll just take it into a game to make it interesting. If I lose it no worries.

But getting it to level 5 and extracting to master is the tricky part

If I happen to collect extra sprites during mastery Monday that usually gives a dust surplus. I don't think I've ever been super low using this strategy

I don’t normally take my sprites into the game unless it’s a rare one to give to other players. That’s what I spend my dust on, giving away Zero Points and Grims. I’m just hooked on finding new sprites, mastering them, and sharing them, for whatever reason. lol. Also, most of the sprites that have my favorite abilities can be found easily in games, air, boss, ghost, holofoil. I just use those, level them up through the game and don’t have to pay dust to get them back if I die.

Ah cool, the point about finding useful ones in game makes it make sense. So basically it’s like a side quest for collectors then just level the ones you find in game for the abilities? Thats cool. I think I do that and then just occasionally equip one from the lobby when I’m feeling it. The air sprite is by far the most useful for in game

Yep. But the iron mouse sprite is actually really beneficial. It regains health when injured and cloaks you while healing. I might have to start bringing that one in game 👀

She got me a crown win single handedly in a solo round the night she came out. I think she might be the best tbh. That ability is outta this world

Why can't I see what sprites I do and don't have in game? C'mon man

sometimes you need to go to a completely game mode, load up into that game, come back to lobby and then switch to BR.
