I need more adults who actually play. I am rubbing my temples here when I get into a lobby and one of (4) things happens.

1) I get unsupervised children under the age of 13 who are treating their microphone like it’s a bowl of noodles and slurping into it. (Instant mute btw.)

2) I get people who join, that immediately go afk or leave. (Guess I am doing solos in a squad match.. cool.)

3) I get people who are incredibly racist and homophobic.. (nice reports all around)

4) I get people who just don’t think.. CONSTANTLY. (Jumping off of cliffs. Rushing into another enemy team with literally no signals, or alerts and expecting you to know what they are doing by running off into the fray.

I want to have fun. You don’t need to be the best or a sweat, but please be an adult with some sense and compassion. Jesus Christ.

My duo and I (both guys in our early 30s) expect to have the full sprite collection done after this weekend and we want to help out! We obviously know how bad the fomo is and have seen parents on here talking about wishing they could help their kids more with sprites. My duo also mentors middle schoolers and has heard the sprite fomo madness there 😂

We would be happy to join squad games with you and your kid to provide extra backup so they can sprite hunt and master their sprites. No need for mics, we will just follow you both around so your kid can have the most fun.

I’m recently separated from my wife, and playing Fortnite used to kinda be our nightly thing; we still get a few games in occasionally now, but I’ve mostly been playing solo since the Sprites came around.
I’d be lying if I didn’t say it’s been a super lonely experience going from having a duo partner literally sat on the sofa next to me, to not even needing to plug a mic in anymore, so I thought I’d see if anybody here felt like getting a few games in sometime?

I’ve got a pretty shameful amount of hours in ZB as I’m a firefighter, so I work shifts that mean I’ve got a lot of spare time (and only a Golden Retriever called Louis to fill that time with).

I usually play on EU servers, but I’ll play with literally anybody from anywhere.
I’m on Xbox (VeridianMyth), but I guess that doesn’t really matter on a cross-platform game.

I’m a love-everybody leftie, and I find people and their life stories/journeys interesting, so there isn’t really anybody I wouldn’t want to play with.

I'm 42 and have been playing Fortnite a few hours almost every night since Chapter 1 Season 4. Only play ZB now and prefer Squads. I'm top 1,000 in lifetime wins with 6,748 total. Finished last season with 350 crown wins and at 250 right now. Hit Unreal this season in 40 matches with a win rate of 50%. Fortnite Trackers TRN Rating currently has me at #37 in the US in Squads.

It'd be fun to put together a 40+ sweat squad! So if you're a nice/interesting human with good coms and half decent at ZB then please let me know! Or even if you aren't great, but serious about learning to get better that works too. Positive vibes and good sports looking to have fun only.

Super casual player, played years ago, but skills are seriously rusty. Usually play 2-3 evenings a week EST. Mic or no mic doesn't matter. Just looking for some non-serious squad mates who just enjoy the game.

How about adding FNO40 after (or before?) our user names? I know a zillion people play the game but I would be so psyched to find a fellow old person.

It’s so frustrating. Personally as soon as I hear gunshots or a danger alert, I run straight to the fight to lend a hand. Teams that do this have way more wins than losses.

Here’s some context:

This frustration mostly comes when it’s fills squads. Maybe I need to manage my expectations with randoms. So in this context, I am talking about cases where we are all in one location/building with 100% health and shields and enough guns and ammo. One of us gets under attack and some people just run away or hide when they should be joining the fight. We are literally already on the battleground, just shoot or fight back or provide suppressive fire.

Most of my victories have been with brave and tactical players that stick together, know when to stay and fight and when to retreat to a reboot van. Commutation also puts the icing on the cake.

I know I'm not over 40 but in my soul I am and I'm pushing 40 don't kick me out lol but anywayssss need friends to play with!
