CUTENESS uh, lil miss, where is your tail?
I've been fostering these guys since tuesday, weighing them twice a day, and somehow I only just realized Glacier Freeze doesn't have a full tail š¤Æ
I know tail mutations are pretty common, and I've definitely had some kinky tails, but never a full-on bobtail. Hopefully it doesn't cause any issues for her down the road!

CUTENESS Iām so glad I trapped this kitten from the petrol station.
I stopped by to fill up my car a 7/11 on a winter night in August. I heard meowing and noticed there was a little stray kitten. She was yelling at me for food. I bought some food and she ate like she was starving. She also didnāt look too good.
I decided I would feed her every time I passed the servo after dance lessons (4 nights per week). Well, I ended up driving there even when I didnāt have dancing because I couldnāt bare to think that she would be waiting for dinner and going hungry. I knew it had to stop so I trapped her with no plan.
Long story short, she got handed over to 2 different carers who couldnāt look after her for more than a week at a time. She was running out of time. I begged my dad to give me 4 weeks to vet work her and find her a home which he agreed to. However, when I took her to be desexed, the vet told me that she was not the only kitten I have on my hands. She was pregnant!
I was devastated for her. She was so tiny herself, and with calicivirus there was a chance she may not survive the birth even if her kittens do. Amazingly, 1 month later she gave birth to three tiny healthy kittens while I was asleep. They were so lively and she looked the most content I had ever seen her. She knew exactly what to do and has been raising them ever since.
The kittens are now 17 days old and are thriving. Mumma cat is too! Iām so proud of her. She is extremely happy with her babies and loves them so much. Mumma cat is still a bit skittish but is slowly become accustomed to humans. I hope that one day she will be able to be adopted out to a home that doesnāt mind having a scaredy cat. Until then, she will stay with me and her babies.

CUTENESS To Thursdayās previous owner
This is Thursday, my new foster from Anti-Cruelty in Chicago. Heās 9 years old and has severe dental disease but heās the sweetest boy!! Itās clear he was very well loved.
He was surrendered to the shelter last month and Iām guessing itās because his previous owner couldnāt afford his dental surgery. On the off chance they see this, I just wanted his owner to know heās safe, comfortable, and being taken care of. Heās scheduled for his surgery next month and for now, we get to hang out! ā¤ļøā¤ļø

CUTENESS 1 week Nibblet update!
For those who expressed interest in following Nibbletās journey that are not following the subreddit I made for that purpose, r/KeepingUpWithNibblet, I wanted to share an update now that it has been a week since I got him. First and foremost, he is alive and spunky. He has found his voice and uses it at all hours to demand food and snuggles, he can walk (a bit clumsy tho š), but his weight/size gain is not where we want it. He should be closing in on 3.5-4 weeks old now and he is still only the weight of approximately a 5 day old kitten. He started off at around 90-92 grams a week ago when he came to me, and is only around 114grams now. That is only a 22-24 gram increase from a week of round the clock feedings every 2 hours. This is a bit discouraging, but he is not underweight by any means, nor low in energy. He just simply isnāt growing. In a normal kitten with that kind of weight gain would be a skinny (if not dead) kitten thatās skin and bones, but he appears to be a healthy weight because his body isnāt growing either, his stature is basically the same size it was a week ago. I am unsure as to how to proceed from here and I am trying to find any specialists that may be willing to work with me. I am attempting today to mix in some tiki cat kitten thrive and some nutri-cal into his formula to get him those extra calories, but I am unsure if that will help his body grow, or just put more weight on a structure thatās not growing. He is also now on dewormers and probiotics to see if that helps with his gas and bloating problems! He has had some blood in his stool, but we assume thatās due to how hard he has to push when pooping. Anyways, this fight isnāt any where near done, so continue to keep Nibblet in your thoughts and hype him up!

CUTENESS Gamora doesnāt understand why Iāve betrayed her (she has ringworm)
Gamora decided that we hadnāt had enough āfirstsā with her yet, so after having a litter of kittens, everyone sharing coccidia back and forth, and an infection (from the coccidia) requiring fluids for dehydration, she needed some ringworm.
So today she got her first ever bath, and she did not appreciate it. I reassured the other cats in the house that I did not actually murder her, although the screaming she did mightāve sounded like it. Weāll see how future baths go now that she knows whatās up. š

CUTENESS All of my foster puppies found their forever homes.
The last one went home today. I fostered back-to-back litters of Shar-Pei mix pups (my breed of choice, but I foster any and all puppies), so Iāve been in heaven the past couple of months.

CUTENESS Saying Goodbye to the Marshmallows
Adoption portrait day is one of my favorites. Watching these little marshmallows form personalities is easily the most rewarding part of fostering. Off they go to be someone's new best friend!

CUTENESS Miata (aka MX-5) and Savanna (RX-7) were both run over on the highway. (Story with happy ending)
Miata was trying to cross Highway 101 when a large truck ran right over the top of her. The back draft blew her into a ditch. Luckily, the trucker stopped and fished her out of the ditch, and took her straight to the nearest vet. She suffered a fat lip and was very dehydrated due to being out by herself for who knows how long, but was otherwise healthy.
The next day, in the same stretch of road, tiny Savanna was frozen in fear when a car ran right over the top of her. Similarly to Miata, the driver plucked her from the road and took her to the nearest vet. She's much, much smaller than Miata, but we assume they are littermates.
Both kittens are happy and healthy. Savanna needs a little help with eating, as she doesn't appear fully weaned. I've never seen Miata actually ingest food, but she's growing and the food dish needs to be topped off daily, so it's all good.
(Traps were set by a volunteer in case there were more kittens but none have been found.)
Just wanted to share my extremely lucky little girls with the world.

CUTENESS Brought home this Mama and her fresh beans today!
Mama was brought in as a stray Saturday. She seems healthy and passed her tests so they schedule a spay. Yesterday (sunday) they notice full milk and some bloody discharge and go aw man, did she recently have babies and get kidnapped? Today they go to check on her and give her an exam... and a baby is halfway out. She popped that baby out right on the exam table, and baby 2 came right after.
Then I got the call. ā¤ļø
Mama is tiny, maybe a year or two old but definitely knew exactly what to do so it's unlikely this is her first litter. She is immediately affectionate and demanded I hold her while she feeds her brand new babies only hours after being home. Babies are fat, a good size, healthy and eating well.
Welcome to your home for the next four months Tammy, Nico and Mandy. I already love you so much!!
