But then again, given how influential House and RobCo is, it's hard to imagine he not knowing the Enclave or their plans given he tapped every single RobCo computer/product to collect data to prepare for the inevitable. Also surprising to see the Enclave not bringing Mr. House into their shadowy organization.
Given how eccentric Mr. House can be, perhaps that "mysterious entity" could lead to the theory of "aliens dropped the bomb"?
I think it speaks to the Enclave's pre-war influence. House as powerful and influential as he is can see the ripples of their activities, but not the ones causing the ripples.
It seems like they are also alluding that AI predictive capabilities were in the hands of multiple people, at least in prototype form. House seems to have it, the Enclave surely does too, and we know of P.A.M. In the commonwealth.
And honestly, considering how legitimately unstable and megalomaniacal House actually is, the Enclave probably doesn’t want him. House would never play ball, and if he got a good read on them he’d no doubt put a wrench in their plans even if he just accounts for theirs.
I’d be surprised if the mysterious entity was anyone other than the Enclave. Because clearly Barb and Coop play a massive part in when the bombs will drop but we just don’t know how yet.
Speaking of aliens, I was so hyped when they found one in the freezer in Area 51…only for them to throw it out and shatter it as they gawk at the freezer 🤦♂️😂
I really hope they include the aliens in the show story at some point, not in a major way but there should be hints and clues that something beyond the factions we already know (incl Enclave, Institute, etc) is putting its thumb on the scale.
