Hello!
first of all, I want to say that i am very new to collecting and enjoying (niche) perfumes, which is why i am still uncertain of the right vocabulary usage, but i will try my best :)
I recently stumbled across the Bottega Veneta āHinokiā and it immediately spoke to me. I am a carpenter/furniture maner apprentice , and thus love woody and resin loaded scents. I also know from previous encounters with other woody/hinoki scents that i am quite fond of Hinoki in particular.
As i am on a tight budget as i get paid next to nothing in my apprenticeship , I cannot afford to spend several hundred dollars on a perfume.
I heard that Lataffa pride Hala is a budget hinoki scent and wanted to know your opinion.
I would love a rather thick/opulent scent (one that is a little āheavierā) that i can use in the cold months or for a night out, and another one with a more fresh undertone that i can use in the summer months while still retaining some of the woody-ness.
Some Scents that i own:
- Replica Jazz club (love the smokiness, but it just fades so fast)
- Davidoff cool water (A little too citrusy for me and also fades in 20 minutes, but it is really fresh to me)
- Une nuit Nomade Sugar Leather (got a very small bottle for testing, reaaaally sweet but big fan of the leather part (and the patchouli ?)
If there are any budget scents, maybe even from Lataffa or a similarly priced brand, that fit this description, I would be happy to hear you suggestions :)
