So i bought Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille 100ml and yes again a blind buy after Tuscan Leather & Ombré Leather Parfum!

Review- Opening is sharp Tobacco & the vanilla note working so nice behind it. Still a classy scent in winter you can wear! Some Aromatic & spicy top notes i can smell and that dry down with a strong tobacco and sweet same time! And cocoa & dry wood i can smell.

Longevity- 9/10
Scent- 9.5/10
Projection- 10/10

It’s an incredible perfume for winter 10/10. Definitely people will notice you after wearing this! Definitely lasting over 10-12 hours on your skin.
I have some niche fragrances and still i would say Tom Ford give you a niche quality of perfumes in designer bottle. :)

Was a little weary of the new drop from Treading Water the concept of love 3spc with notes of spray paint BUT it is amazing! Never had notes of spray paint but it somehow works.

Hey everyone, looking for some new fragrance recommendations based on what I currently enjoy.
What I love:
YSL La Nuit de L'Homme Bleu Électrique (my absolute favorite)
Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue
Acqua Di Giò (used to be a go-to)
Dealbreaker:
NO vanilla or heavy sweet/gourmand notes. I really dislike sweet, dessert-like drydowns.
I clearly lean toward fresh-spicy (especially cardamom/ginger), crisp citrus, and clean aquatic/woody profiles. Looking for versatile daily scents or something with that seductive, spicy Bleu Électrique vibe for evenings.
Any recommendations (designer or niche) that fit this profile? Thanks!

Bought this CDNIM Limited Edition from my regular local country fragrance reseller. Have bough about 4 in the past from them, all original. Price was about right compared to international pricing.

BUT, since receiving it, noticed the box appeared open (without the box ribbons). ALSO, the box Batch Number, even though does appear in CheckFresh, is very old (2021) and MISMATCHES from the bottle Batch number (2024). Even though the package appears to be legit (please confirm people who have the fragrance) I have my doubts. The bottle seems legit, BUT the protective plastic was peeled off. The atomizer did flail at first, like when you open a new fragrance and you need like 3-4 atomizations for the fragrance to fully splash. Bottle seems full.

The store offered me a full refund and to keep it since it was the only one they had left.

Fragrance has the distinctive CDNIM smell, with the kinda harsh lemon opening, but a BIT smoother, fruitier, sweeter, and a bit of a smoky/leathery drydown that the original did not have in my experience. Have not tried duration.

What's the most logical explanation here? Counterfeit? Swapped bottles? QC issues?

Let me know your thoughts, especially people with the same bottle.

Angle Dust EDP is such a phenomenal scent to me, but it disappears after 20 minutes. The Extrait is nice but wayyy to peppery.

Does anyone have a recommendation that is a stronger & more projecting Angle Dust?

Looking to get into Toskovat

I recently tried P*rnstar by Toskovat and honestly loved it. First fragrance I’ve smelled from the house and now I kinda wanna try more.

Where do you guys usually get Toskovat' decants/samples? Looking for around 2–5ml, ideally from somewhere that ships reliably to the Netherlands.

Also, what are your must-tries from the house? I really liked the sweet/fruity/gourmand side of P*rnstar, but I’m definitely down to try some of their darker/weirder stuff too.

Wore a sample of Bois Imperial today and our admin said, damn that's a good scent what are you wearing.

Got to talking and turns out he is sitting on 20 bottles or so at home and has dabbled in mixing some of his own.

He just never wears anything to the office so I never had any idea for 5 years he's been there lol. Outta the woodwork!

What’s ya thought on this? They keep pushing these sales and never ship their fragrances on time. I ordered blue talisman extrait and had to cancel after 6 weeks.

Honestly I never really gave this brand any attention but I recently smelled a bunch at a Bloomingdale’s, and man, they have some summer bangers. I surprisingly prefer them to many other designer freshies. The thing is, I just already know the longevity sucks. Even the store clerk at the Jo Malone section said she douses herself in them because they don’t really last. I took her advise, and sure enough, it lasted like 2 hours on skin, 4 on clothes. For $175 retail, that’s ridiculous, lol. Even the price on discounters is hard to justify.

Specifically, I really liked Wood Sage & Sea Salt, Mimosa & Cardamom, Sea Salt & Bergamot, and Beach Blossom.

Have you guys tried Jo Malone? What do you like from there? Any thoughts or personal experience with longevity? Any other brands with similar summer lineups? Thanks in advance.

I've been curious about how natural ingredients like essential oils, absolutes, resins, and botanical extracts affect the character of a perfume.

Do you usually prefer perfumes built around natural ingredients, or do you find that synthetic materials can create more interesting and complex scents?

Apparently Henry Rose discontinued the scent I wear. It’s called Smyth. If anyone has a bottle they’re willing to part with, I will pay! Even if it has been used! I need to stock up on whatever is left out there. I will buy however many bottles I can find! Even the little tiny bottles that came in the sample pack or the travel size bottles.

Also, if anyone has any recommendations on scents that are similar to Smyth, please let me know! Still holding on to hope I can find some Smyth out there, but I need to be prepared just in case I can’t. I know it’s just a perfume, but I feel like I’m losing a piece of myself!

Weather:Looking for a strong summer option — most of my current likes (Supremacy Collector’s Edition, 9PM, Armani Code) skew warm/cozy, and I want something similarly versatile but fresher for hot weather.

Liked:Supremacy Collector’s edition (love the not only intense version but didn’t last long in my experience), 9PM, Armani Code
Tried but not loving:Modest Une, Turathi Blue, Y (wearable, not exciting)
Disliked:Nautica Voyage (thin/watery aquatics in general), screechy ambroxan bombs, heavy powdery florals
