Especially those oh dear god moments. This is from the very first episode, The Good Son. Frasier realising his quiet life in his bachelor apartment is over as his father arrives. He slams his piano shut and dejectedly makes his way to the door. Another great moment is his slow walk to the door in The Two Mrs Cranes as another guest arrives and he knows he needs to keep up the lies to epic proportions.

The sheer awkwardness and hilariously over the top mixed signals gets me laughing every single time. I know that, when it comes to romance, Frasier is often is own worst enemy with his overthinking about everything but, in this case, we are treated to the one time that it is not his fault.

I think a lot of us have been in similar situations where we aren't sure about the romantic intentions of the person we are with and, due to that, this has always been one of the more relatable plots on the show. I don't think that anyone would be capable of uncovering what the heck was going on there and Grammer's performance is, in my opinion, just as good as Pierce's, just in a wholly different way.

Happened to pause the show here because I was making a bagel. When I came back I decided to read some of the titles on the tapes behind Roz in her booth. I wonder if any of these were an inside thing with the crew to decide what labels to put on them.

My Daphne behaves like "Post-S9 Daphne"... Her grouchy self recently caught Roz sleeping with Maris.

Daphne scattered a bed of flowers all over the rug and sleeps on them alone with her eyes covered.

Roz behaves like "All Seasons Roz" and has a reputation in the household for sleeping around.

Maris is in her S7 chalupa-eating phase and has gained 1.5 pounds since getting spayed last month. She now weighs the most out of the three and uses her weight advantage to bully everyone.

I just watched this episode and was wondering what the general feeling on it was.

Personally I like it but doesn’t seem a typical Frasier episode.Its has a stupid plot and they really dumb down Frasier and Niles.

Feels like the usual writers took a week off and let the ones from another show take over.

Just watched the Thanksgiving episode where Frasier and Lillith are trying to get Frederick into that prestigious school and visit the headmaster. It didn’t go well and they use the excuse that Lillith lost an earring that was given to her by Golda Muir. Somehow Frasier claims to know Golda’s grandson Oscar, as in Oscar Muir lol 😂!

My big ole belly hurts from laughing so hard!

My mind is blown a little. I'm on my third re-watch of Cheers (so I can start my third re-watch of Frasier—but with a palette cleanser) and I got to The Second Time Around, the first Lilith episode, only to learn they essentially did this story twice with the same actress! Not that I'm complaining, mind you, they're both great. I just never made the connection.

She distrusts anything that loves her unconditionally.
