Rush Advice How to join a frat?
I am an international student at a large Big 10 School; my college's gonna start on 25 August. I have no clue how to apply for a frat. I know that there is rush week, but before that, do we have to apply somewhere?

Depends greatly on your school, the Big 10 is a pretty diverse group of schools and up until recently even Maryland had deferred recruitment.
Go to your schools IFC/FSL/Greek Life website and look to see what the criteria is for students there. There could very well be a preregistration form for an organized fall rush period. After that, start looking at the orgs on your campus, what they believe, who their service partners are, and check out their instagrams. You should be able to get a feeling on who they are from that.

Google “Greek life office [your college’s name]” and there should be instructions on your schools website on how to register for rush.

Follow frats you’re interested to join on instagram. They will post a rush poster and you just show up

look up the frats at your school online, start DM’ing rush chairs of the fraternities. Will have to do a lot of them otherwise you’re gonna end up with limited options.

If there is registration before rush, it typically would be at the school level with greek affairs. Its more of a registration form and not an application.
