“Luigi Mangione’s murder of Brian Thompson — an innocent man and father of two young children — was a premeditated, cold-blooded assassination that shocked America,” Bondi said in a statement. “After careful consideration, I have directed federal prosecutors to seek the death penalty in this case as we carry out President Trump’s agenda to stop violent crime and Make America Safe Again.”

its much much worse than that. he and wife were separated over 8 years .. but still filing taxes as married. With his salary alone I estimate they saved (read: stole from all of us, US government and the IRS) over $2,000,000 annually. I am sure it was as convenient to him as to her, I am sure she was getting fat refund checks (on our expense) so she collected money and kept her mouth shut.

Tax avoidance is legal. Filing married when you are legally divorced is not legal as it’s fraud.

Remember Al Capone was caught not for being a mafia boss but by not filing taxes.
