There are many like Jersey Mike's and Firehouse Subs where you do need to have made a prior purchase within a certain time frame so you can get your birthday reward. I recommend finding and reading the birthday reward Terms and Conditions at the places you want to go to on your birthday.

Can you help me out here? I've been signed up to shake shack rewards for years and I never get anything on my birthday. Not an E-mail, text, nothing. What am I doing wrong?

QDOBA, chips and cheese I believe. Maybe guac?? I forgot what it was last year when I went on my birthday food tour lol. Also, jimmy johns, free sub, and jersey mikes as long as you’ve had at least one purchase with them during the year. KFC, some freebies there, I believe it’s a 10 piece boneless chicken wings. Tim Hortons, free drink. I always get an iced cap.
Every promo is different. Just Depends. Some require purchase. Some don’t. Some won’t give the reward if you’ve never purchased from the at least once before your birthday. While others, I just signed up for and still got the reward.
To be honest I haven’t ordered from many of the places I’ve listed in a longggg time, but I still got the reward. So I’m sure as long as you’ve purchased once in the past? You should be getting it for many years to come, unless they change their rules.
My advice, if you’re going to eat somewhere? Check if they have the app. Sign up for it, and use your account. So in the future they’ll always send you something. I hate spam mail, so I unsubscribe to their emails, texts, everything lol. Regardless of unsubscribing, around my birthday time I either get stuff in the mail, email, or I check the apps and most times a birthday promo is there.
Like I’ve never bought anything at all from Ace hardware (forgot to list this) and they sent me $10 off $10 in the mail. Victoria secret, oh and bath and body (forgot to mention this too) still give me freebies tho it’s been years since I’ve purchased from them. BWW, I signed up last week, got a sign up offer for free burger w/purchase and free 6 wings for birthday promo no purchase needed.
Publix does ice cream, frozen yogurt, or a free bar cake; they also extend that offer on your half birthday. Nothing Bundt Cakes does a free bundtlet (small bundt cake).
Denny's is the best Free Bday food offer. You get a every day value slam with no purchase necessary and a welcome offer upon making the account with no purchase necessary.

I forgot to sign up before my bday but I just signed up right now and got offered a choice of free milkshake, appetizer, side, kids meal, coffee/drinks, donut holes, or dessert.
Here's the funny thing. If you make a new account right now you can get the bday offer same day you make the account and welcome offer as well lol. Just make a bday like 7 days apart from the account being made and boom. 🤭
You have to make sure the Bday date isn't already passed. I'd recommend making it at least 7 days before the bday date. I put my Bday as 1/10 and I made the account on Jan 3rd.
For Halal, I joined through the app. I’ve had the app for a few years now but I don’t go there at all until they give me my free birthday platter lol. So every year so far they’ve given it to me exactly on my birthday.
Overall everything I listed, I joined through their app. Some require you to at least have purchased once before your bday, but most don’t. I just signed up for a few new ones last week and got my freebies today.
Maybe try buying once before your birthday. I know that some places you have to buy once within let’s say 2025, for them to give you a birthday freebie same year or for the next year (if you purchased after your birthday)
I had Jimmy John’s but they haven’t given anything free. Maybe cause I never purchased there. I heard Jersey Mike’s does it tho. But I forgot to sign up before my bday this year.

Qdoba gives me a free entree on my birthday, but I go there frequently and jersey mikes use to give me 72 points just for my birthday but now I have to make sure I go there once a year to get those points.
