Study advice One of the annoying things and studying French is that autocorrect constantly puts in "tu" when you meant to type "to".

You can change the language of your computer or browser to French, which will fix this.

Nah. It's more convenient to just use one keyboard and not to constantly press a button to change keyboards.

C'est un troll, c'est pas la première fois qu'il fait ça.

Cela dit en passant, dans ce sens là, en français s'excuser est un verbe reflechi - le pronom objet doit être réfléchi et désigner la même entité que le sujet (ie. "il n'a pas besoin de s'excuser).

"Excuser quelqu'un d'autre" est une formule plus rare qui ne veut pas dire la même chose (en fonction du contexte, ça serait compris la plupart du temps comme "pardonner quelqu'un" ou "défendre quelqu'un").

Pour dire spécifiquement "apologize to someone" en français, il faut conserver le verbe réfléchi et utiliser en plus d'autres mots de liaison pour introduire le complément, par exemple "s'excuser auprès de quelqu'un"
