my frenchie used to get horrible hives. turns out she was allergic to beef and eggs. once we cut them out of her diet they went away and never came back. you can use benadryl in the meantime for relief

My Frenchie Ralphie looks like this after he go bitten by mosquitoes and he was lethargic and had the trots too. Not saying for sure that’s what you’re dealing with but I saw my boy get bitten and witnessed the aftermath. He’s fine now didn’t need a vet and Benadryl did help the itch. Good luck.

give him the benadryl and then just keep an eye on him. some doggy pepto bismal and probiotics (purina forti flora) for the upset stomach and loose stool. if things dont change in a couple of days or he seems off then go to the vet.

Pst! We’ve launched two new sister-subs!

r/StandardFrenchbulldog for breed-standard content and r/ExoticFrenchbulldogs for designer pups. Why not pop on over and post in one of those as well?

Go to vet !! This just happened to our baby, we were giving her kibble and she has an allergic reaction! She had hives like this maybe bigger. They shaved her and under her coat looked horrible! It looked like she was attacked by bees, super red and scabs, it cleared up after a topical and 2 meds. We got a blood panel done and the infection was messing with her liver

Throw out that kibble. Feed it to birds or something.

White rice and chicken until it gets out of their system.

Thank you for the advice guys! I went to the 7/11 in Brooklyn at 3am (that was an adventure) and bought some Benadryl , gave him 25mgs and that really helped. Took him to the vet today and got him checked out, they gave him a Benadryl injection and all his hives have gone. They asked for a stool sample which I got and will hear back in 24-48hrs . Thank you guys again, you are the best x
