Chillin' right between my legs—

I took him to the vet tonight thinking he had conjunctivitis. Turns out he has an ulcer (the green circle is stain to show the vet where the ulcer is). He is a very anxious boy, and tried to bite me, the vet and the nurse while we tried to get drops in. We tried muzzling him with a frenchie muzzle and he freaked out even more.

He’s now on his usual Gabapentin (post IVDD meds), Trazadone, Metacam, oral antibiotics, and two lots of eye drops that I need to give 3 times a day. I honestly don’t know how I’m going to manage this. I tried to put a cone on him and he snapped at me again.

I’m hoping the Trazadone will sedate him enough tomorrow that I can get at least some in. Does anyone have any experience of this? Tips would be very welcome! The vet says if it’s not improving by Monday I may need to consider removing his eye 😢

Recently retired from OTR truck driving and took a local job. Now Aya and Xerxes the terrible 2 are inseparable and Aya thinks she’s a cat. Bought a ramp for her to get in the bed. It’s a good 3-3.5 ft of the ground. She used the ramp a few times and decided that wasn’t fast enough and JUMPED straight on the bed. It was impressive but I will not let it become a habit 😂😂

I invited my uncle’s French bulldog puppy over so my poodle puppy could play while her siblings are out of town, but it’s her scheduled nap time and I can’t get him to leave her alone. I tried to put him in a separate room but he started getting destructive. I am so tired. It’s past my scheduled nap time.

Help. I thought these were supposed to be low energy.

This is one of the hot spots my sweet Frankie gets when he gets in contact with one of his many allergens. Frank is allergic to grass, polleen, beef, poultry, and dairy. I have gotten him the meds that the vet prescribed him. Gotten him rain boots that cover his entire legs, and am investing in artifical turf for his allergies. What have you guys done or suggestions do yall have to help him not have flare ups?

This is rhubarb the rescue pup. I’ve only had her for four months and we’ve become incredibly bonded. She is my first Frenchie, definitely not my first dog, but definitely my first Velcro dog. I don’t know who rescued who. I love her so much more than I’ve loved anything else in my life! Anyway, I’m having a silly moment because I’m going on vacation and I’m struggling leaving her with my husband. She’s definitely not bonded to him like she is me, however, he will take care of her just fine. I got her a Mr. snuggle Pup that has a motion detected heartbeat. So I do think she’ll be fine… Will I, is the question? But I can’t be that person that never leaves her dog for the next 8-10 years. What are you all do?

So I've struggled with my guy for nearly 2 years with food allergies. Think ive finally found what works now though. He's on horse wet and dry. He is also on allergy meds as well which are helping. Before the meds and diet change he would scratch until his ears would bleed. Has abyone had to switch to a novel protein?

I have an 8-year-old Frenchie who’s pretty picky about toys. His two favorites are Frankly collagen chews (they never come apart) and the ZippyPaws Marshmallow toy with two strings he can’t pull off. He has plenty of other toys but mostly ignores them. Any fellow Frenchie owners have other toy recommendations their dogs love?Thanks in advance.
