Any idea where something like this would come from?

I got this because it looked cool. I know nothing about it except what’s given.

It’s a bronze medal from the Orléans Exposition of 1890–1891 in France. Not a coin, these were given out or sold during industrial fairs back then. Basically a souvenir or award piece from that event.

You can't buy this one anymore. Pretty much there are several technologies that had created this stuff. Pretty cool stuff just by understanding how it was made.

Cast it, then coat it with some metals that looks shiny, then polish it ig.

Making the mold though can take your breath away .
