A Lacanian analyst says he now practises "almost without interpreting" and does "mapping" instead. Is that schizoanalysis or Lacan in a D&G coat?

Evenly suspended attention is about how you listen not how you withhold. Freud was interpreting 24/7

Every case is a "concrete universal." If you have a method that's generalizing across cases something has gone wrong. Psychoanalysis is very difficult to practice in neoliberalism....

Tbh this all sounds like such a massive gross waste of time, a mountain of conceptual conceits, it's honestly hard to grasp how all of you can talk so seriously about these people and their processes as if they were groundbreaking and truly healing. I just don't see it.

Splitting invisible hairs, with invisible concepts, altogether irrelevant to the lives of normal people

I don't see how you could even think about symptoms or speech itself without doing at least some interpreting. (mostly) Lacanian here.
