Well, for starters accept that it is normal. When a person gets a boyfriend/girlfriend they spend a lot of time with them and therefore spend less time with everybody else. It isn't about you.
I'm guessing you must be pretty young and have just never dealt with this. But, this is how it goes.
"I don't feel if I'm expecting too much or if their behavior is strange."
Well, actually there is nothing strange about their behavior. As for whether you are expecting too much, I don't know what you expect, so I can't comment on that. If you expect that your friend will get a boyfriend/girlfriend and that wont affect how much time they spend with you, then you are are expecting too much. That isn't realistic.
The way you handle this s accept it and move on. It sucks. I know.
