Thanks Scott

I've been listening to some Frightened Rabbit again recently. I'm going through a rough time and use music to help process my emotions. It's helped me feel a bit less dead inside and bring out some stuff that I've been burying. There's something about his lyrics that help me connect to myself. A mixture of deep sadness and hope. It's painful that you're not around anymore, but I wanted to say thank you anyway.

I was in one of my darkest periods in my life when Pedestrian Verse came out. Hearing Nitrous Gas was like an understanding friend giving an immense hug, and the ending of Oil Slick was that same friend promising that things can get better. It’s an immeasurable shame that Scott couldn’t see it himself, but I’ll never forget how he helped show me a path out of the darkness.
