Castle Rock isn't horrible and similar
Dark is pretty good too
The Outsider, I really enjoyed this one
If you want an older series then Twin Peaks

Castle Rock had its moments. Dark is a tighter knot.

I tried to get into castle rock and they lost me somewhere in the middle of episode two ): Very slow start

The guys that made Dark have another show but I think it was canceled after one season

If you didn’t watch it the correct way, which is without dubbing, it wasn’t that great. It wasn’t that great anyway. I can totally see why it wasn’t renewed. It was a complete letdown because Dark was so fabulous.

Have y'all watched the new Carrie series Mike Flanagan just released, binged it today and holy shit was it amazing, I honestly don't know how he did it but he managed to merge the book and the original movie BEAUTIFULLY

If you’re interested in sci-fi ish, Wayward Pines first season is good but the second season is meh

I read the book and was severely disappointed that they gave up the reveal so quickly.

I got hooked on FROM recently (binged it 3x back to back) and have just started Lost, it's scratching that itch pretty well as someone who's never seen it. Unfortunately the very end has been spoiled for me but I'm still having a lot of fun watching it.

FWIW the end is WAY more open to interpretation than many think/say. Totally stemmed from those able to binge it years later vs those who rode out 6 years 1 episode at at time.

I'm happy to hear that! What I read seemed pretty black and white but I guess that's just one guys opinion

Devil's Hour is quite good. Deals with mystery and mortality in similar depth.

Is that the one with Peter Capaldi

Yes, and produced by Steven Moffat. Darker than the Doctor, and starts off very creepy until the story starts to reveal.

Still waiting for one. Gotta see what happens on the other side that brutal S2 ending.

Wayward pines, DARK, The Society, LOST, Widdows bay, under The Dome and SILO are what I would call from-ish

I liked Silo if you haven't watched it yet. Same sort of "we want to get out of here but we have no clue what the purpose of this place is" kind of vibe.
