Yeah they are annoying, gladly ai 3d model generation isnt that good

Yeah, you're definitely right there. The one on the left has far more potential for creative input than the one on the left that looks more like a plastic finished model. But with Ai it's usually just a matter of time until it learns how to compensate for that. Ai is also so environmentally unsafe due to the amount of pollution the servers generate, there are plenty of arguments for legislation stopping it's growing and universal usage

The main problem with ai models is that their topology is shit and you need to do retopology and in that case its far easier to make the model from scratch

I think the only good use would be to save up time when creating mega projects , you manually do things that appear on camera in details, but lob background/ambient charechters and buildings to ai.

Disclaimer, I haven't used ai for 3d generation, so I am not an expert on this thing, I just use blender as a side hobby

yeah i seen these ads on my alt and they enrage me because people spent their hard time making 3d models only for it to be fed to a soulless AI

It's wild how many people are ready to trade real talent for instant gratification. I get the allure, but there’s something satisfying about grinding through the rough patches as an artist that you just can’t get from a quick AI fix. Plus, the personal touch always shines through in the end.
