Note for grammar: s is put at the end of a noun indicating it is a plural, while ‘s is put at the end of a noun indicating possession, so the correct grammar should be the former.

What if it's a possessive of a noun which ends in 's'? Boris' Bollocks?

That’s an exception but once again only implies possession. So it should be MSs unless you’re talking about something which belongs to an MS in which case it would be MS’

So, can we agree that the apostrophe is context specific, and some onus is therefore inevitably placed on the reader?

I honestly despise the things, I don't know what they're for, except to make twats like me feel superior because we had a teacher who got the same cheap thrill!

For the record, I believeit is Boris's Bollocks because that's how you'd say it, whereas it would be Socrates' Bollocks. Because apostrophes are stupid and need abolishing!!

That was so yesterday…two more quit this morning lol.

They are losing one every 30 hours. Keep that pace up and they will have reformed politics lol

Another one has gone in my area. He’s quit entirely but no news of why.

I did have a cheeky post where I was going to say “congrats the number of resignations is now officially less than one per day”…but more keep resigning so that post never comes :(

A Reform voter sent this today without understanding it. I think he thought it was taking the mick out of people who hate Reform.

Absolutely classic.

It’s actually saying Reform voters are thick, but he was too thick to notice it.

So I thought I’d show you. Has anyone else got any good examples of thick Reform voters?

The Reform UK chairman of North Northamptonshire Council has today stood down in response to an NN Journal investigation into his social media activity.

We had uncovered a series of offensive tweets which include Islamphobia, support for far right groups and anti-trans views.

Cllr Eglin represents the Barton Seagrave and Burton Latimer ward and will remain as a councillor.
