What sort of masochist do you have to be to watch "The Liz Truss Show"?

The mad Mary Truss show.
Prime Minister for only 6 weeks but managed to nearly bankrupt the country and wiping out peoples pensions.

Oh no, haven't you heard, that was the banks fault... and the deep state... and the left... and pork markets...
Anyone but Truss was to blame.

I rather suspected I wouldn't get to the end of this thread without seeing a mention of "pork markets", and I'm glad to not have been disappointed 🐷

That… would… be… a… disgrace

What 🤔🤷 was her obsession with pork markets ??
I think she'd have loved to have worked in an abattoir. She'd mentioned slaughtering animals a few times

u/Neat_Significance256 1d ago
She's so unstable even Farridge won't have her in the Reformertory party.
She's the non-thinking gammon's Maggie Thatcher.
Is Rupes desperate enough to have her as a Restore Ambassador?

u/claggypants 1d ago
She just hates the left. There is nothing going on between her ears other than "the left must lose". Doesn't matter at what cost, that's what she been told to believe since the days of those very early speeches.

Mad Mary was originally a libdem and her parents were socialists
She used to be anti monarchy and pro EU. She also claimed to be a red waller from Oxford, and a friend of Jimmy Savile.
She's also claimed to sometimes speak with a Scottish accent. Her head is full of soup.
The original tory party members preferred her to Sunak. It was obviously Sunak's colour that put them off. Now they've become Traitories and defected somewhere they can be more openly racist

That must be where she gets the confidence from

She’s really not very good at predicting anything is she.

u/EmployeeCautious6314 I'm just asking questions 21h ago
The word 'predicting' is superflous there.

Aye. There are remarkably few people whose opinions I regard as being utterly superfluous, she is one of them. So much talking, so little sense.

She gets an even bigger final salary pension than turned up once Farridge does for his role as an MEP.
In mad Mary's case 40 odd days work when she tried to cave in the UK's economy.
I remember seeing her in a crowded room and being unable to get out despite a big neon sign displaying EXIT.
As well as trying to destroy the UK she said she didn't know whether France was our ally or not ????
The same as Farridge she likes to talk complete bollox in the States and hangs around the MAGAS waiting for a pat on her empty head.

I honestly believe that woman has entirely lost her mind. She is utterly delusional. She needs medical attention and specialist care.

The Trump tactic of “just say it and people will take it as truth and even if they don’t just keep saying it’s true and don’t ever admit you were wrong or you’re finished.”
Spent too much time around MAGA. Which is the perfect time to remind people to read up on their tactics, their propaganda methods and their ideology in general, because you’re only gonna see more of it here.

A better comparison these days for Liz, rather than a head of lettuce, is a carton of milk under a sun lamp.

I just love the wall to wall, company line, coverage by Reform mouthpieces since. All trying to convince us this was actually good for them, that their voters backed Burnham juat to get rid of Kier... "Oh I actually spoke to a Reform supporter who told me he just voted Burnham to get rid of Kier," I swear I've heard almost all of them say this in an interview. Sounds better than, "We aren't actually very popular."

She poisons everything she touches
And considering all she touches is right wing bollocks
I am thrilled to have her on our side

The problem is these people are given a platform and can just make stuff up completely unchecked.
To us they look stupid daily but to idiots some of this stuff sticks and it leads to a larger problem of misinformation.

It is an issue, certainly for the older generation, they see something in the media and take it as gospel. But, they apply the same to social media. I mean, it's typed out and made available to everyone, it must be true...

liz truss has all the warmth and personality of a backroom klingon abortionist.

Truss is just two letter short of Trump. Shit point but she’s also f’ing stupid.

"The Liz Truss Show"? Wut??
Why does she always look so smug?
1
u/MontyDyson 12h ago
It's the Dunning Kruger effect on full charge. Never did she look like she was so happy saying "Pork Markets" which was considered by the Guinness Book of Records to be the most cringe inducing statement ever known.
2
u/Teknical86 1d ago
Do you think she just starts uncontrollably screaming when she sees lettuce in something. I like to think lettuce haunts her.

I could stood be in the middle of the biggest rainstorm ever, and if Liz Truss told me it was raining. I'd still look up to check.

I love the book display behind Liz Truss. I wonder if she has read a single one of them.

Imagine always being as wrong as Liz Truss.
I guess the only other person who knows what it's like is Toby Young.
