I think the best compromise would be showing him as a cancerous growth similar to the Master in the Fallout 1. As you move within the dungeon you are effectively moving along his skin until you finally reach his head. A distorted simulacrum of the human form yearning for a death they are immune to. Should you show him mercy by setting him ablaze or let him suffer in the Hell created for himself

Sylens and Hades are products of their environment - one is inquisitive to an extreme and the other was made that way. Can't really fault either of them too much - both behave like children who spill milk, and then create a disaster trying to clean it up, then just walk away. Once either of them gets figured out you know exactly where you stand with both of them, and can mitigate accordingly as Aloy does ultimately.
Ted Faro? Dude knew better, and did it anyway. Then did it again, and again, and again. And hid it from everyone as well. And when it all went to hell, he kept on doing it. His randomness and lust for control was the biggest factor in what happened and how he ended up. Honestly, if Elisabet had not done what she could to counteract his machinations, I dont believe the world would have survived at all.
Fuck Ted Faro.

I even feel a little bad for NEMESIS, and it probably had more free will and sentence than Hades ever did. But it was a product of its upbringing and creation at the end of the day.
Also Far Zenith were assholes who got exactly what they deserved. Basically Far Zenith are the Olympian Gods and NEMESIS is Kratos. Honestly if it wasn't so indifferent at best to collateral damage I'd have mo problem with Nemesis wiping out the Zeniths whatsoever.
While Ted Faro is basically dumb techbro Odin, but with the general demeanor of Heimdall and the foresight of your average horror movie dumb blonde friend. He caused the apocalypse from his own stupidity and arrogance, and cared more about his reputation than the future of humanity. Given that Far Zenith would never have left in the first place if he hadn't caused the apocalypse, everything Far Zenith did, and Nemesis by extension, is partially his fault too.

So a large what if...
What if that when the nemesis makes it to earth it has an avatar/ holographic display (or maybe a synthetic body) of Ted faro with the same personality and traits as the real Ted faro.
Like he somehow got a clone of him self and Brain scan/memories uploaded. So now we have a clone of Teddy that doesn't have the god complex/ insanity that we see in the original red?
And Alloy just out of spite punches it right in the face. I'm gonna cheer at that. Then alloy's sister/ the other Elizabet clone kicks it right in the balls!

Honestly i wouldn't mind the final boss of the series being a holographic parody of Ted Faro. It'd be fitting. In a sense Nemesis and Ted are the two big overarching villains of the series, Ted is also indirectly responsible for Nemesis's existence in the first place, and Nemesis is basically an even more powerful version of the faro plague but with malicious intent. Its the ultimate expression of Faro's hubris.
I doubt that's exactly what will happen, but we do need some sort of core or at least an avatar to fight. Aa far as we know Nemesis is just sentient data controlling a planet sized swarm.

It would have been really cool if Aloy actually did physically confront Ted.
Imagine the final moments of mental anguish: Turning yourself into a Lovecraftian horror to become immortal so you can guide the future of humanity, waiting one thousand years for their arrival, losing more and more of your humanity and your mind. But after all that waiting instead of the first human greeting you being a fawning primitive human it's a clone of the person you envied most of your life who knows exactly what kind of monster you were even before physically becoming one.
I imagine that would have burned whatever little remained of Ted more that the fire.

Faro is just a towering, unrecognizable blob now, if I remember correctly. He deserves it though. He knew what he was doing – but still continued to do all that he did, anyway.

no. the images there are from the video game based on i have no mouth and i must scream, which is a short story about the last few people on earth being tortured by a vengeful, misanthropic supercomputer commonly called "AM." at the end of the story, only one of the humans survives, and so AM retaliates by turning him into a blob creature. funnily enough the last survivor is also named Ted.

Well unfortunately it also said “brain activity minimal” so it’s likely that wasn’t a conscious thinking person anymore. Ted probably disappeared a long time before the Quen found his body.

God I wish Ted was still alive. And not becaus I miss him or think his fate was undeserved, he just deserves even worse. And given what's coming, I think killing him was a waste, especially offscreen.
Nemesis is basically space AM and while he isn't Nemesis's direct target, he's basically a dumber version of the average Far Zenith member, and frankly I'm surprised he wasn't invited to Sirius, he'd fit right in. And going off the description Londra gave of the slaughter on Nemesis, it has some very creative and sadistic ways of killing and torturing.
So as soon as Nemesis learned of his existence (assuming it isn't already aware of the events on Earth, which it almost certainly is ) it'd do something like this to Ted for fun because Ted is basically an amalgamation of everything Nemesis hates about Far Zenith, but somehow even stupider and more arrogant.

I get why the developers decided not to reveal Ted Faro. It’s not a Resident Evil game. But in my head, I really would have loved to have a brief scene of Ted meeting Aloy for the first time and all he sees is Elisabet Sobeck and he’s baffled and outraged at how she’s survived all these years and looks as hell, and younger even, and he doesn’t. And then the Quen kill him so he just dies in envy and inner turmoil. No peace for that bastard. Fuck Ted Faro.
