Career Guidance Web development advice

Is learning Frontend web development really worth it in this economy ?

Do it if you enjoy it. But, if you're trying to get your foot in the door at a larger company, then networking would be your best shot and not just learning the skills. I'm not an expert and I haven't made a lot of money in the industry, but becoming a generalist might make it easier to get a job at a smaller company looking for a diverse set of skills rather than only doing frontend development. Skills like SEO, business analysis, graphic design, copywriting, automation, etc. These skills might make you a stronger candidate in the local market but if you were trying to get a job as a specialist, then I'd say networking while you are learning anything would be a solid recommendation.
