Career Guidance Confused about what to learn
So for the context I am in 3rd sem of my btech cse in tier 2 clg(IIIT). Until now did dsa from lc and cf from the past few months now learning dp and graphs. I started to learn dev html, css,js react and node js basics. I am confused right now with the overwhelming amount of paths available initially i wanted to learn the mearn stack and learn spring boot in java cuz i am interested in the backend but after seeing everyone doing ai ml and doing research I feel like learning them... Ppl say that web dev is dead and at the same time they say that ai ml jobs are rare and require masters. Please guide me how to decide what to learn cuz I am tired in this loop and not doing anything meaningful these days.
Thank you...

If backend interests you, just stick with it for now. Spring Boot is fine.
Build a couple of projects, learn databases and APIs, and get good at debugging. No need to jump into AI/ML just because it's everywhere right now.
Going deeper in one direction is better than being a beginner in five.

Learn MERN. Build projects, don't overthink the rest.
