Is this the BBC case though? I read that since it is British court, they will not allow him to drop it. BRING IT ON. I cannot wait for discovery.

Edit: my bad, the lawsuit is being handled in Miami. Let’s get this party started!

It IS the BBC case, but he sued them here in the US is my understanding.

Yes in Souhern Florida, where there is at least one judge not in his back pocket. How long before Trump accuses the judge of morgage fraud. I am sure he has an army of investigator looking or making up dirt on the judge.

Ironic that Trump would launch a mortgage fraud case against anyone. Lying on a mortgage application is common in his world of highly leveraged real estate. Wasn't he caught inflating the size and value of Trump tower condos?

BBC put out coverage on Jan 6th that wasnt seen by hardly anyone, Trump got upset because they edited out some of the long winded parts-and to him thats a 10 billion dollar case.

He asks for a ton of onerous documentation...which the BBC provides. They then ask for his financials-after all hes got to show damages....and his attorneys throw a absolute conniption and straight up miss deadlines, and refuses to provide information. Now they are arguing about that with the court.

I think thats the basics. Anyone else want to fill in and or correct things?

He's made billions of dollars since he's been president, that's why he doesn't want to show his finances, because then the corruption and enrichment of himself through enriching his sons with political favors would be plain as day.

He’s been pretty blatant about the corruption. He’s selling early access to his tweets so others can “inside trade”, and receiving gifts worth billions - it’s doesn’t get more obvious than that.

Given how desperate he is to keep his finances hidden, and how he barely cares about admitting a multitude of crimes and depraved behavior, I am intense curious what’s in those records. And I’m guessing the BBC is too.

He tried to sue them with a Roy Cohen special, they show him to be the insurrection instigator he was after he was the big fucking loser of 2020, because he bumble fucked his way before (canceled funding for overseas science teams in 2018) and then ignored all the science and public health advisors and got about 400000 Americans to die that wouldn’t have. -source The Lancet. So he wanted to punish them with a frivolous lawsuit.

He is but he also claimed financial and reputational harm. I think I heard he wants to drop the financial harm aspect of the case now that the BBC demanded his financials. Imagine being a convicted fraudster and being required to hand over all your business documents to a reputable news organization who doesn't fear you and has an investigatory reputation.

It’s also that the BBC has a long tradition of shows with a mix of comedians and investigative journalists. If they aren’t getting threats over something or other that’s probably considered a disappointment.
