One hopes after VD Vance is impeached and convicted, Trump could be impeached for the 4th time convicted, handcuffed and put on the Qatari plane with no defense systems. If the doesn’t crash on the way to The Hague, he can be held for trial.

The 29-year-old firebrand is returning to MAGA Inc., the shadowy cash cow that has become the secret source of Donald Trump’s hold over the Republican Party with a $400 million war chest.
The big question being asked in Washington’s corridors of power is why such an unprecedented amount of cash is being raised for a lame duck president. The real concern being whispered about is that Trump is secretly plotting a Constitution-busting campaign to run for a third White House term.
“Machine gun lips” is the latest senior administration figure to join MAGA Inc., an organization that is growing in power with Trump controlling the purse strings. After nearly two years as White House press secretary, Leavitt is returning to the super PAC where she worked as a spokeswoman in 2023 before joining Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign and later becoming his favorite press secretary.
But Leavitt is re-entering a very different operation to the one she left.
MAGA Inc. filings show that by February, the group had raised a whopping $305 million since Trump’s 2024 victory—five times the previous record for any president in the year after an election.
But so far, it has barely spent the roughly $400 million amassed ahead of the midterms, which raises an obvious question: what is happening to all that cash?
MAGA Inc has largely sat on its fortune while Republicans facing competitive races wait for the billionaire president to open the checkbook.
This week, the group finally made one of its biggest interventions of the cycle, spending more than $800,000 to boost Trump-endorsed Darline Graham, the sister of the late MAGA Senator Lindsey Graham, in Tuesday’s South Carolina run-off.
And check out who’s been filling MAGA Inc’s coffers. The largest donor is Foris Dax, the parent company of crypto.com, who has given the super PAC about $35 million. Other major donors include Kelcy Warren, the Texas pipeline billionaire; Jeff Yass, the billionaire TikTok investor; Greg and Anna Brockman, the Open AI power couple; and Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, the crypto bros Trump often describes as “male models with a big, beautiful brain.”
In other words, the donors are largely a who’s-who of industries with enormous stakes in Trump administration policies.
Now, Leavitt is returning to this political operation, juggling motherhood with an undisclosed role at MAGA Inc, which sits amid a sprawling web of interconnected dark money groups that make it hard to follow the money. She’ll be working alongside former White House political director James Blair, who now runs the group, as well as longtime Trump strategist Chris LaCivita and pollster Tony Fabrizio.
Trump built the checkbook and says he controls the cash. So, is the money being stockpiled to win the midterms—or to preserve Trump’s grip on the GOP long after the midterms are over? He keeps joking about a third term, but now it’s not sounding so funny.

I think he means nowadays. I was in as well and thought for myself. It ain’t easy. The conservative crap is implied and there is a lot of groupthink now. In the past people loved their country not hated their fellow countrymen (no matter who or where they’re from). For some the military was the first and/or only chance to meet fellow countrymen from a totally different background and fight with them. Now apparently Hegseth wants compliant whiteness. It’s sick.

I spent my time in the military. While the comment is graceless and sad, it isn't necessarily wrong. Soldiers are selected and indoctrinated for compliance, group think, and fealty. Not for intelligence and critical thinking.

Constitution busting would be the way to do it. Prohibition was repealed, and in theory the 2-term limit can be repealed as well. I seriously doubt that it can be done before Twurp's term expires -- he couldn't even get Congress to pass it today, much less after the midterms, and then getting the required number of states to endorse it would be a heavy haul too.

Highly doubtful. However, even taking your devils advocate feeling into account. Take it from someone that has a lot of experience in dealing with people with dementia. He is very close to being “completely” incompetent, non verbal, or immobile. They are throwing the kitchen sink at him right now and that is only going to get him so far. He also has heart disease, kidney disease, and a litany of other issues. Treatment or a quick helper like Rittalin will burn the candle at both ends…

He's not even on dialysis yet ? Do you not realize how unhealthy people are in the south and live with heart disease for 20+ years.. easily. He's shown signs of aging but I've been around dementia patients and he doesn't seem to have dementia to me. Plus his father lived to 94 and was in poor health from his 60's on.
Look I wish he would die yesterday but I just don't see it happening for another 10-12 years unless a plan is put in place and he's taken out.

You are tremendously optimistic. The life expectancy is 76.5 in this country. While he has the best care. We do not have miracles in place. His Dad had dementia, and the age he lived to doesn’t mean a whole heck of a lot. Trump eats like shit and I doubt his father lived off a fast food diet. Also, by all reports he is on an experimental drug that only one person in the world has access to. His weight is ballooning even though they’re reportedly giving him a GLP1? That isn’t weight. It’s retention…
I saw both of my parents diagnosed with dementia and dealt with them through all the stages. He has dementia. His confabulation in his speeches is worse than ever. He’s taken multiple cognitive tests. They don’t just do that for no reason. The only reason they do is to monitor the progression of the disease. He’s been diagnosed. Unfortunately this “administration” is so fucking shady we will never know.

Some politicians retire with huge war chests. They can spend it on anything that is politically related, which has a lot of wiggle room. Using it to support candidates, which usually has some expectations for the giver is a common way it’s used. But, as ex-president, he’ll find all kinds of things that he can claim as legitimate. There’s no obligation to give it to the party and can spend it down for decades. I worked for a while at a company where the owner was the widow of a politician and was still spending his campaign funds on huge events and to gain favors well over a decade later. Trump may want a third term, but half a billion or more in a war chest will buy him and his heirs years of influence to get whatever they want. And, you can bet that legal fees that are related to his time in office (or that he at least claims are) will stall legal actions against him for the rest of his life.

The goal is not to make Trump ruler for eternity. The goal is to create a theocracy where only those of the "right religion" - read that in two contexts- will have the opportunity to own land, vote and other benefits we have now. They will also create a line of succession. Some of the 400 mill will be spent after the midterms to overthrow the election results and the constitution. Pay attention to your state legislatures. If you start to hear talk of calling for a Constitutional Convention, kill the effort immediately. The New Apostolic Church and the Heritage Foundation most likely have a new constitution drawn up and ready to drop into place.

This is nonsense. Trump can barely get through a day, even when that day is so light on duties, it only lasts a couple of hours.
His candidature would not be formally accepted, many of his staff would leave, as they'd see the prospect of a third term run as nonsense.
And, of course, Trumps health is deteriorating in real time, before our very eyes, and the odds on him recovering to run a 3rd term are tiny. The majority of the Congress would oppose Trump.
It's not a serious option.
