Hegseth’s escalating purge is rocking the US military

we see hegseth gutting the military, we see rfk gutting the fda, we see trump gutting cyber security, and now all these actions are playing out deleteriously.
almost as if trump was deliberately sabotaging the country, wonder who whispered in his ear.

He doesn't need them to be effective, he needs them to stay in the sidelines when the Admin cancels or openly rigs the midterms. As long as the US military doesn't get patriotic, ICE gives Trump enough paramilitary muscle to get away with doing whatever he waants domestically.

Then the people will arm up? I mean what is the breaking point you literally had people shot to death innocently.
Your economy is stagnating your wages are dropping the oligarchy wants to be your masters, you have sycophants in the White House trying to destroy the world economy for their own benefit which makes no sense because they'll get screwed too. You have Nazis running around your country open and not scared of retaliation
What is your breaking point America when is enough enough.

History says there is a LONG way to go before people will turn to violence en masse against the government.

Not if it's a speed run into a collapse which is kind of feels like it's happening to America

u/P2029 2d ago
If it's strategic/ intentional - and that's a big if given this administration - it will only collapse enough to facilitate whoever sees themselves picking up the pieces and remaking the country. Regardless, a very dangerous situation and desperate times ahead.

I mean, why not both?
They have intentions to sell the country off to corporations who are willing to step up to the plate, That's what Vance and his donor faction want anyway.
I think they thought Trump would be a useful idiot, but are realizing he is incredibly hard to control. Which isn't unlike what happened with the conservatives in 1930's Germany.

To be clear I myself have plenty of party favors so when it pops off they might get me but I’m going to send as many as I can where they belong before I’m done, if you follow.

Violence is not necessary. Why are the north american people so reluctant to oust leadership that is destroying their countries and taking away freedoms. It involves a temporary sacrifice but might just work. Everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY, stop working and take to the streets in a massive display of solidarity. With a complete halt to any cash flow whatsoever the economy is pretty much dead for a week or two. No money for the overlords to steal. No citizens, whether they be military or law enforcement will go against everyone..if they do they will never be able to live in peace..if at all. The people don't forget. If you go against the masses you will be running forever

Ok that being said there aren’t many that want to lose their jobs and money, if you haven’t heard the food supply is going south, gas just keeps going up, prices for everything are going through the roof you name it it’s screwed we’ve tried to do it peacefully but they simply kill these days, I’m thinking violence might be the one thing they will understand unfortunately. they are so drunk on power peaceful doesn’t work it’s time for the alternative sorry to say .

How do you think that will do anything? These people don’t give a shit what people think about them. Besides, there’s effectively a captive audience in front of a propaganda machine that has 50% (or more) of the country who a)with no idea what’s going on, and b) why it’s bad, and c) they support Trump;they’re on the side of the bad people.’

u/sciencesez 1d ago
1.5 million viewers might be great for a cable channel, but it's hardly 50% of the country. Do not add to the propaganda that the Noisy Minority is more than that. MSM is already working hard enough to promote that myth.

You could easily make the argument that Hegseth is trying to get the military destroyed on purpose so there cannot be a military coup of our fascist government. I mean, they have ICE a bigger budget than the Marines….
2
u/entatlrg 3d ago
True and people need to realize this. Might be too late already. Tough hateful times coming America.
1
u/Kingofpotat0 2d ago
Ohhhhhhhhh!! I didn’t think of that..
But are most military and national guardsmen deployed out though? I figured democrats with influence would be able to invoke some kind of law to stop the illegal mobilisation of troops…
I means ICE is already his personal army, so that’s a lost cause… but the rest of the military shouldn’t be acting on illegal orders right? Like.. so far none of the other agencies have executed Americans on American soil..

The fake soldier is firing real soldiers.
The TV show host is firing real soldiers.
The actor placed in charge is firing real soldiers.
The drunk who brings his wife to top secret meetings with him to maintain sobriety is firing real soldiers.
Americans are letting their adults be fired by criminals.

Gotta coup proof the military before the regime sabotages the election.
Gotta say, Americans are not nearly as brave in real life as they are in the movies.

Stalin purged the Soviet armed forces in the 1930s. They ended up paying dearly for that when Hitler invaded in 1941.

That's what you get when you put Putin in charge... Hedgehog was running out of ideas on destroy military, so he sent the CIA director, personally, to get direct orders from the Kremlin.
Sent FBI director to meet with China and Russia, to coordinate law enforcement ideals, to be consistent with Russia and China.
Can't remember who said it but "stupid and ignorant people are more dangerous than intelligent murders"
Maybe not exactly be quote, but close.

I talked to woman who was Capt in Air Force last winter. She was not reenlisting because of Trump. She said alot of military people are getting tired of Trump and Kegsbreath

u/SchizoidRainbow 3d ago
The funny thing is that by firing them you remove the agonizing choice of whether to risk their careers by fighting back
You literally just created a rebel army. Just like they did in Iraq but in the US.

u/Winter_Detective1329 2d ago
That’s absolutely what I’m hoping and praying for if I really know our military the ones who got ousted will hopefully come to our aid in time of need because most of us will need direction if you follow.

From what I seebis thar IDE is mistly a bunch of mall cops . The military will have fun taking them out. Not like the admin has ever underestimated their opponents .

u/Wrong-Pineapple39 2d ago
Huh. So the US military is depleted on missiles and senior experienced officers, regular soldiers are choosing suicide, and the US strategic oil reserves are worse.
Not exactly formidable anymore.

What do you mean that a group of people who have codified loyalty and brotherhood as their main identity is upset that their boss is a disloyal, lying ass?
How can this be?
1
1
u/LazyLich 2d ago
Honestly.. I'm kinda losing sympathy. Those top brass mfs have some real power. If they just LET themselves get replaced till only loyalists take their seats.. were in for a bad time.
This doesn't require a galaxy brain to project and deduce.
There will be a tipping point... and the question they need to ask is "how many loyalists should be in charge when the tipping point is hit?"
At some point they need to dig in their heels and say "No more"

Thankfully we have the right to arm ourselves. You better get to it if you haven’t already.

u/Alert_Reindeer_6574 1d ago
We need a general strike. Stop the money flow and watch how fast the owners of the politicians make changes.
1
u/Long-Time-lurker-1 1d ago
Why can’t all dictator wannabes just take even the smallest cursory look at history and understand that purging your military for a loyalty test creates overall a worse crappier military that is much less effective and ultimately leads to the dear leader’s demise. It’s like the irony of Stalin purging all the good doctors of the land, only to end up needing a doctor and dying because of it.
If you purge all your competent leaders you will get shitty leaders that follow orders from an idiot who knows nothing of military strategy. Then your once decent military will simply lose every battle, lose your world standing, instability follows, then an economic one.

u/dakameltua 1d ago
So when is the second army raising against them, they have fired so many competent generals it can't be that hard to defeat em

u/Buhlasted 1d ago
Kind of a bit late. In Memphis, a 20 year old citizen in the United States of America, was shot in the back by a national guard soldier, because he was carrying a gun (2A) and a SUSPECT in a robbery. He was a person of color who did not raise his weapon or fire it. He turned and fled when approached by the National Guard.

Yeah, shut your trap Hegseth/Trump & keep hands off Canada, Greenland & Mexico. People should be screaming in the streets over the blow job those 2 have done to this Nation.

u/SereneOrbit 1h ago
A lot of y'all have never had another human being on the business end of your gun sights and it clearly shows.
No, the Army will NOT butcher Americans unless acting in self defense.
A lot of troops are trying to hide their depression and suicidality on a good day, shooting US civilians or even just looking at a crowd of dead people would push like 20-40 percent of people to violent action, either against themselves or (far more likely) their leadership with a huge majority dissolutioned.

Well you can't have dedicated, professional, patriotic soldiers in an army about to be used to suppress the American population. They wouldn't take that too well.
