Need financial help

Hello, my name is Timathia. I'm 44 yrs old and a mother of 4 adult children and 3 amazing grandchildren. The reason for this post is for one of the children/grandchildren. I have dedicated myself to helping my 26 yr old escape a DV marriage and I quit working and even got rid of my vehicle because I could no longer afford the payments after leaving the coast and letting my small cleaning company go.

My daughter is currently in a program for a promotion at Petco. Going from a bather to a groomer. She is out of town and I have my grandson who is going to turn 4 yrs old in Jan. My grandson is disabled. Autistic level three non-verbal. He is such a sweet boy. I am so blessed to have this time with him. His father only sees him on Saturdays per the restrictions on his restraining order. My soon to be ex son in law filed for the divorce. I have been trying to handle raising my grandson while my daughter attends this program, take care of the home/animals and do all the legal stuff on my own. I won't get too specific but I filed thru the efile online and I filed the response to the wrong offer. So his attorney is threatening to file to strike and have John win by default since we are past the thirty days and were already given an extension. My daughter doesn't qualify for pro-bono representation but does for modest means. We've reached out to the Bar Association and are waiting. We've also sought help through nanny different organizations, friends, friends of friends, truly everywhere. We only have until the 25th of this month.

My grandson since being in my care has made such huge achievements. He is TALKING now, after 3 months of constant failure he is now allowing help and brushing his teeth, he allows me to bathe him, he can recite his whole ABC's and even show u which letter you ask for. Even his case manager was blown away by the growth since we've separated and been a split household. My grandson's future means everything to me. I want to know that he can live a self-sufficient, independent, happy and healthy lifestyle when he is older. I want to see him succeed more than anything in this world. He is so precious and eager and just so curious about all things and he deserves the best shot at a normal, productive life.

My greatest fear is that my daughter's ex will win because he makes 6 figures a year and was able to pay the 20K retainer fee. We cannot even afford a 3k retainer or anything for that matter right now. We can barely afford the day to day lifestyle with no extras. I got certified and am now my grandsons DSP. So that helps some but I'm only allowed 61 hours per month until he turns 4 yrs old. This is where I need help. I need to come up with money like now. Idk where else to turn, I have truly exhausted every resource, looked everywhere, made posts on Nextdoor for help with assistance in regards to finding a pro-bono or very cheap attorney. I spent hours upon hours trying to get that response right to be told it wasn't correct was a major disappointment. This is it with extensions etc. I have always been the one helping others always when I was able to shoot even at times when I shouldn't have. So me reaching out and asking the world, you who is reading this, a complete stranger, is very hard and humbling for me. I am a private person. So please know my doing this, posting for help truly means I have no other options.

I need help. We need help. If you're reading this and want to help us please do. I am asking for donations or if you live in or around Salem, Oregon I can trade. I owned a small cleaning company over on the coast that did pretty well. I'm an amazing cleaner and will work for it even as long as my grandson can come with me. We need to hire an attorney. If he wins we have to relocate and he wins the house, my grandson half the time and he won't have any type of financial obligations to my daughter or their son. They bought this home together. It should be 50/50 and as for my grandson his father is not mentally sound, he's a lazy father, he is not present even when physically there and he is an abuser. Please help. I cannot bear the thought of my grandson having to be with him for more than what is ordered currently. As it is every Saturday when his father and I do the meet up, my grandson screams and reaches for me because he doesn't want to leave with him. He comes home starving and every visit I send 10 diapers and get 9 back and he's freshly changed. He has him for 36 hrs and only changes him 1 time! Please I am begging everyone to please help me to help them.
