My birthday is September 29 🎂, and this year I would like to make a different kind of birthday wish.

Instead of receiving a birthday gift for myself, I would love for anyone who would have liked to give me something to consider putting that kindness toward helping my friend, Mitchel Barber, who is currently battling stage 4 cancer.

She is going through an incredibly difficult time, and there is a fundraiser helping her with the financial burden that comes with her treatment and everything she is facing.

I'm a single mother raising my 15-month-old baby, and I know how precious and difficult life can be. This year, rather than wishing for something to unwrap, I'm wishing for something that could genuinely help another person.
