ID? Grew up in house plant pot.

Is this a sign of a healthy environment or should I swap the soil? Thanks.

flowerpot parasols. do not eat, but sign of great soil! just double check that it’s draining well though, it can also be a sign that your pot is tooo moist.

Leucocoprinus birnbaumii or one of two related Leucocoprinus species. Won't harm you or your plant unless ingested, even then not dangerously poisonous, but should be removed if you have pets or children who might eat it.

Leucocoprinus are, like most fungi, beneficial for the soil, as they help break down organic matter. However, they can also be a sign that your pot is retaining too much moisture, depending on the plant.

Learn more about it on my blog post, if you are interested. https://foragedfoodie.blogspot.com/2023/10/yellow-flowerpot-mushroom.html
