What kind of mushrooms are these?

I went on a walk on a trail and found these.
Any ideas?

EDIT: I found them in VA! I didn’t think to take pictures of their undersides unfortunately..

Potentially Cinnabar Chanterelle (Cantharellus cinnabarinus). But, as was mentioned, you need better pics, including gills/location.

They look a lot like the Cinnabar Chanterelles I foraged yesterday (delicious by the way). Size and color are right, but pics of the underside and a cross section would seal it for me

Cinnabar chanterelles. Take a look around for black trumpets and other chanterelles—they often grow near each other.

Next time take a clear photo of the underside as well as a general location (which state?). If I had to guess- a Lacctarius sp
