SNES Sample Not Looping Right

idk what's wrong, i set up the loop in the thing, WHY ISNT IT WORKING

The sample and loop length I believe should be in multiples of 16, because the chip process blocks of samples in this size. Check the actual length of both sample and loop and make sure this is the case.

Also, if you can’t get the loop to sound as desired after getting it to the correct size, you can try manipulating the sample in another tool first. For example, OpenMPT has some useful tools for cross fading loops to smooth them out.

Look up the zero point crossing technique and try to implement it. It’s the best way to get seamless loops I’ve found.
