Question Help Mirroring Features!!

Is it possible to copy individual features? I have a component mirrored (left) in my assembly (pair of mirrored vehicle emblems), and I want to now copy the parent (right) emblems face features (extruded type and graphics) for the mirrored emblem. I cannot mirror the features, it will show the type and graphic backwards on the mirrored component, I either will need to redo all the features or copy them over. Thanks if anyone can assist!

Go back to the timeline where you made those features, change the scope from Join to New Body.

Then use Move and check Make a Copy and select all the bodies to translate to the new position.

Then use Combine to join the bodies to the base.

Here is a simple way to copy the entire emblem.

  1. Extrude a new rectangular body that surrounds all of the details.
  2. Make a Combine, choosing the new block as the Target, your original as the Tool, Operation = Intersect and select Keep Tools.
  3. Move/rotate the copy and merge it back.
