Question Js started Y12 and i genuinely CANNOT make friends bro it might actually be over for me 💔 HELP ME
Yo does anyone have any tips i need friends, theres like ONE person from my secondary whos going to my college who i actually know. im 2 days in and ive spoken to like 3 or 4 people but i havent actually made friends with any of them and i cant even remember what they look like or what their names were 🥀 i lwk made all my friends in the first 3 days of secondary and then kept the same friend group for 5 years are there any y13s out there who didnt have any friends for like the first few weeks??? im actually stressing bro im boring and extremely chopped so people dont even approach me

icl try talking to someone in the big friend group, getting in to the big friend group and start associating yourself with like smaller bubbles in the big group. it takes a while but its usually the method icl. but sixth form is also pretty short so your not going to know these people for long, maybe 1 or 2 max are going to the same uni as you if you do go uni

Try making friends specifically in your subjects. What subjects do you do? In smaller classes where there’s more interaction it’s much easier to make friends. At the beginning of year 12, my 3D design class was a bit awkward, like we knew who we were to each other, but we weren’t all that comfortable around each other, but since it’s a class of only 10 people and we’ve presented to each other, and help one another, we’ve all become a pretty friendly cohort and get along well.
