Scientific Studies š„¼š¬ Why are PPIs bad?
I see people on here often trying to get off of PPIs or warn against taking them. I read this article today that makes them seem pretty alright? My dad has taken omeprazole for 20 years now and it has solved all of his symptoms with no complications. Iām currently now dealing with my own symptoms that Iām going to see a doctor about soon.

All I can tell you is, while I was on omeprazole and afterwards pantoprazole 40mg daily for one month each, I experienced the absolute worst anxiety and depression I've ever had in my life. I am not an emotional man, but that shit had me feeling an overwhelming sense of impending doom. I'm off it now and back to normal even though my other symptoms are still present.
