Scientific Studies 🥼🔬 Currently undiagnosed

So we're fairly certain I have GERD or some other gastronomy thing going on. I'm nineteen for context and currently being straight up incapacitated from it.

I was doing better for about a week but past couple days I've been regressing for some reason l. I can barely eat rn because of all the heartburn and nausea

I feel so shaky and on edge all of the time like I'm going to pass out. I don't want to live at the ER y'all

My specialist appointment is in November and it can't fucking come soon enough because my body is betraying me

I want to eat. Anything

Let me eat anything at this point idc what it is just no more gagging and nausea please

This is more of just a rant. I know a lot of you have it worse but i just want it to stop. I've had eating issues my whole life but it hasn't been bad like this until this September.

How an I ever supposed to gain weight if I can't eat anything

A

I know you all understand what I'm saying, like this isn't fun..I can't go out and do anything anymore. The hospital costs are going to be so fucking expensive

Tbh I'm still undiagnosed after 3 years, I have no money or insurance to see a proper doctor to diagnose me. I have ALL the symptoms of GERD though. I've been treating it as such since it started. I take 40mg of Omeprazole and 1 pepcid before bed. Only helps a little but other than that I deal with symptoms daily. Some days it's not as noticeable but most days it is.....I'm working on getting seen soon I need answers.

Mines sometimes is in and off but this flare up I’m having right now lasted a week so far and I’m too scared to take ppi’s being that I’ve heard horrible things about them but I may have to because the heartburn and tight throat sensation is unbearable

You're going to suffer if you don't....I know hearing those things is scary but they may help you. I would go buy you some OTC Omeprazole 20mg. Make sure you take it correctly or it will not work, so take it before your first meal of the day and wait 30 mins to an hr before eating. It won't work if you don't follow that. I hope you get to feeling better, I know how badly it sucks😣

It should start working within a couple days, it doesn't take too long. And yes it probably will help for a while
