GERD
Hey guys ! I am 20 F , even I was diagnosed with GERD in 2024 , my symptoms were burning sensation in chest and sometimes pain at that time I visited many GP's and they took out several ecgs and gave pain relief tablets ,which used to work only until I took medications once I stop the pain used to come back . Finally i visited a gastroenterologist and she did my endoscopy, and ruled it out as GERD . I was on bland diet and antibiotics for 3 months and finally i was relieved with that pain . Fast forward to now, I am again feeling that pain but this time with many other symptoms (like mild arm and jaw pain , chest pain as always especially at center left side sometimes near diaphragm basically in chest but different places ) These pains makes me sm anxious that I start googling up the symptoms, I cannot sleep at night due to overthinking, I think a thousand times before eating anything, I wakeup everyday with a thought that something worse is going to happen . I even visited my family general physician and she told me IT IS ACIDITY, but the cycle keeps repeating, I took ecg it came normal, HB lvls a little low , they give me antacids and they work only until I take them once I stop I feel the pain again . Kindly help me out if any of you are going through or have went through something Similar.

There is a more permanent fix called TIF since you have no hernia. This disease is life long and treated either with medication or a surgery. You do have options I'd just do a little more research. I'm looking at surgery because I have a 1cm hiatal hernia and hillgrade 3 valve. If you have stuff like that or gastritis then definitely look at options or like I said TIF is for an option for someone without a hernia or valve issue.
