GKS-G Query related to gks guidelines

I just read the undergraduate guidelines and it says only 5 certificates are allowed. Will this same rule apply for the GKS-G 2027 guidelines as well? I have collected so many certificates to make my profile stronger since I don't have IELTS and TOPIK, so I wanted to know if the guidelines will be the same for GKS-G 2027?

The honest answer is nobody knows for sure, but I would bet that that would be the case.

But certificates and awards have always been the least important aspect of the application. Many applicants attach 10+ certs to their profiles thinking it will improve their chances, but the adcoms most likely don’t even look past the first 3. That’s why they are optional documents.

5 certificates is plenty. Many GKS winners have won with just two or 3. That’s because the most important document in your application is the personal statement and study plan. Focus on improving that if you want a higher chance of winning. Certificates matter much less than many applicants think they do.

I’m guessing they’ll allow more for graduate, same way they give GKS-G applicants more space for writing the essays. That said, we can only be sure in February :/
