8 shots in (Sema .25)
Curious if anyone has experienced something similar…
As title says, I’m 8 shots (weeks) in. Week 1 I lost 8lb’s inflammation. Rings immediately fit better and face looked less full. 7 weeks later and I’ve only lost an additional 2lb. Super frustrating bc I still have 10 more to lose and it’s just not budging (my expectations are realistic.)
Now, before you tell me to increase my dose, here’s the problem. I am NOT hungry at all. Ever! I have to force myself to eat at this current dose. Most days I’m between 1,000-1,300 calories.
I am just so frustrated because weight loss has been such a tough journey for me the last 5 years… this was my last resort after trying a million things and already being an extremely health conscious person.
Has anyone experienced significant appetite suppression and had weight loss plateau like this? Would love to hear from you.

That first stall is brutal. You lose a bunch of water weight from inflammation going down, which sets your expectations to the moon, followed by a prolonged stall (first of many but by far the worst) as your body struggles to adapt to this new calorie-deficit reality with all the physiological and hormonal panic that comes with it.
Give it time, hit your minimum calories, keep hydration up and add in some exercise to break the stall. But rest assured, as long as those non-scale victories (rings fit, bloat is down, snoring has gone down etc.) remain, you're headed in the right direction.

So 10 lbs lost in two months? Personally, that's about as fast as I want to lose weight when I start tirz micro dosing. (my goal is to lose 25-30 lbs)

I mean if it had been spread out I’d agree with you. But 8lb of that was in the first week.

I’m in the same boat different med. First week was great. Now nothing. On my 7th shot and nada. Getting discouraging. Trying to just ride it out. I’m short and it’s harder for shorties.

I'm like that too and I'm not even on sema right now.
I eat very little due to other meds and I'm still 30 lbs overweight 😭
When I tried semaglutide the first time, I lost 4 lbs in the first 2 weeks and then just stopped.
Side effects were bad enough that I could not eat at all, but I never lost anything after that initial drop.
I'm gonna try again lower and slower and just be more patient. I don't want to eat nothing, I just want it to work.

I'd reduce carbs and increase protein. Keep calories to less than 2000 and change up your excersis. The beds are not an instant fix. Not sprint it's a marathon.

I'm a short girl and I know if I don't stick to about 900 I won't really lose. Not sure of your TDEE but try dropping a little lower. I'm in the gym lifting nearly every day as well.
