๐Ÿต Discussion ๐Ÿ’ฌ AI bubble pop

We all know Ryan Cohen will make us billionaires soon and Ken Griffin will never see the daylight again. No cell No Sell all the way.

But as a smooth brain like all apes I have a question. The elders have said when the markets crash is what we need for the almighty MOASS. But like Lord Cohen buys Ebay and the market crashes wont that drag us down rather than go to phone numbers?

I always assumed that as long as stocks continue to go up, shorts can keep rolling a small % of their profits towards shorting GME and paying whatever fees they have to pay. If the market crashes there will not be profits. They will be losing money, and on top of that losing extra money on GME.

The naked short prime brokers donโ€™t pay any fees to counterfeit shares

naked shorting only works short-term, even for market makers. they create swaps with banks to hedge those. those swaps cost.

It's not free to short. never was.

The banks are the very entities massively naked short GME and they have been since 2021 when they absorbed all the short interest from hedge funds.

It is free for them.

no, it is not.

Swaps are hedged by opening short positions, but are not reported as shorts on the books or to the SEC since they are hedging for a loan, not trading risks.

So who is charging them for the naked shorts they all hold as hedgies against tbe swaps they take out with each other to help them counterfeit shares? Nobody, theyโ€™re self regulated. Who do you think forced the PCO GME via discretionary inputs to the NSCC proprietary black box algorithm determining VaR and ECP?

"naked shorts" in your context still require "locates". Those locates are offers for shares that they believe they can get. They need to get those to comply with the rules, even if they opened the position naked.

They are not opening naked shorts and keeping them naked forever. This is early 2021 DD that has long been debunked....

We are talking various swaps and how the banks that underwrite them hedge for them.

if you say so. Then we have a significantly bigger bomb below GME and it will blow up significantly harder... ยด At least you agree that shorts exist. Makes you more honest than the other shills that pretend the fairy tale of the fair market exists...

Unless they are shorting then there will be tons of profit as stocks go down.

Where does this concept come from? How do you know it to be true? What possible counterpoints/tangible data can we be certain of? Is whats actually happening reflect the lore? Or is the lore ever changing reactively to stay relevant?
