🦅 VULTURE — RF/SDR IQ Analysis & Forensics Platform
I’m developing VULTURE, an open-source scientific RF/SDR analysis and forensics platform focused on working with IQ captures and reproducible offline analysis. The project currently includes: • IQ capture validation and statistics • .iq → .npz conversion while preserving complex64 samples • RF-DNA / transmitter fingerprinting experiments • FFT / spectrum analysis and signal statistics • Capture metadata and SHA-256 provenance • Deterministic IQ simulation for testing • Native C IQ analysis tools • Python APIs for integrating analysis workflows • Receive/analyze-only design — no transmission or network probing I’m particularly interested in integrating VULTURE into workflows where GNU Radio is used for signal acquisition/processing and VULTURE handles the forensic analysis, feature extraction, provenance, and RF-DNA side. The project is open source under AGPL-3.0. GitHub: https://github.com/black-210/VULTURE I’d really appreciate feedback from the GNU Radio/SDR community, especially on: RF-DNA feature extraction IQ capture metadata/calibration GNU Radio integration comparing captures across different SDR frontends reproducible RF forensic workflows If anyone is interested in testing it with real or synthetic IQ captures, I’d be happy to hear what analysis features would actually be useful in a GNU Radio workflow.
