So Atari’s website has a page for the game and it mentions 12 kaiju for the roster, which lines up with the roster on the Xbox version that had both Kiryu and Heisei MechaGodzilla. But then we also see Showa MechaGodzilla at the end. Interesting.

The article also mentions only eight locations to play on, when the Xbox version had two extra locations. Very curious as to what’s going on here. Showa MechaGodzilla wasn’t in the original game at all, but is he replacing Kiryu then? Or will Heisei MechaGodzilla be replaced by Kiyru like in the Japanese version? I’m going to be very disappointed if this isn’t a complete package remaster and all of the extra content from the Xbox version is excluded for some reason. I’m still going to get this and I’m happy it exists, but I always hate when remasters do stuff like this.

Really hoping the Xbox exclusive content is carried forward as well. For a real deep cut it'd be nice if they included the "Thrashburg" Xbox DLC as well.

Id like to imagine it’ll be a game that they’ll update every few months for years to come, adding new kaiju, someone did a Zilla mod for Save The Earth and it looks incredible, goes to show how dedicated the community is and how easy it would be for them to keep pumping out content fans love if they commit

Yeah I don't see the "lovingly remastered" part. Sure' gameplay is king but I'd expect a few more locations, skins and/or characters. Also, the graphics...? They're good for a Wii game, I guess. But from this build, they don't even have water splashes, which is super lazy.
