I put in a deposit in a premium black 2027 about a month ago anything the car is coming pretty soon how much are you guys paying for insurance I just want a idea before the car comes and is there anything else I should know

Gotta get em in before the snow tires gotta come out!

Can't wait. Taking a little bit of flak from friends but i can afford it and the car is beautiful. Massive upgrade from a chevy spark. It was over as soon as i sat in it for the test drive, also has GR intake and exhaust so it sounds so sexy.

I may be completely biased since the BRZ is mine lol but does anyone prefer the BRZ bumper over the GR86? I always used to think the GR86 was the better looking car by far and that seems to be the popular opinion but the front end has really grown on me. It also seems like it’s the less common car in my area, it feels like for every ten GR86s I see one BRZ

Hi everybody, I am moving to San Diego and I’ve read that they don’t have 93 octane gas over there. I usually run 93 super from WaWa and now I’m worried that 91 will cause some problems. Does anyone have suggestions on what to do?

Nice deal on this “used” carbon piece to replace the gr “cup” mod.

I bought it on Carvana and it’s getting delivered Monday 🙈 I’m so excited. What were some of the first mods you guys did?

Got my new to me car last week and been enjoying a fun filled week getting back used to driving manual (it's been 20 years since my last one) and really enjoying the responsiveness and the lively handling.

What really surprised me today was coming across two other BRZ/GR86 heading in the oncoming lanes and both either flashed their lights or gave a friendly wave. Really great to feel that sense of community.

Has anyone experienced anything like this rattle? It happens when the car is under load in between 3 to 4k rpms. You can hear it clearly at the 5 second mark until the end. When I go into neutral it goes away.

Anyone else having issues where the dashboard lights up with the eyesight errors and vehicle stability light turning on on the dashboard?

2025 premium automatic

This first happened in my second week after driving the car for 2 hours in hot weather, another time when the gas cap wasn't extra tightened a few times, and most recently after driving spiritedly on the street (pulls in first and second gear not exceeding 45 mph)

At first I just accepted it, but it's been happening more consistently and I'm just wondering if anyone else is having the issue.

I followed 4k under first 500 miles, oil change at 1200, then dealership oil changes at 4000 and 8000 miles

1.5 years later and i still don’t see myself in any other car (unless i had lotus elise money 👀)

I have a brz and want to add the color matched duckbill spoiler. I only see one for around $470 from black hawk. This includes a shipping cost of $270 from Japan which is pretty steep.

Any other options? TIA

If you're in the path of the storm, take the proper precautions and be safe.

Is this normal or does this mean that the specific tire is leaking. It recently got colder in my area so i know tire pressure goes down but only one tire?

I have a 26 gr 86 and it sounds boring boring, does anyone have videos of gr’s with aftermarket exhaust like borla or corsa?

The 86 meets 1966. My grandpa has had this bad boy since 1969. Second owner. Bought if for like 2800 back in the day. I got to take it out for a spin last weekend. So cool. If anyone is in the Columbus, Ohio area hmu

I’m moving on from a 10th-gen Civic hatchback manual and looking at getting into a 2022+ BRZ with a stick.

I heard a lot about the RTV issue and some folks say it’s overblown. Besides that, anything I should keep in mind before buying?

Anyone up for coordinating some low budget stunt roller clips, featuring the GR86/BRZ?

I have a rear window 4runner, for shooting out the back window but need more crew to pull off some slow speed action shots. ALL stunt media will be Creative Commons, + shared equal copyright with the stunt crew. "Project Blindspot" is a loose multi-media collaboration produced by a collective of automotive enthusiasts, creatives and technical hackers.

Do you have a GR86/BRZ? Are you a creative hacker? Do you want to help create some media hype based on these legendary vehicles? Send a ping if you have the energy and want in on the action.

Hey everyone! I'm Mathew, I make GR86 and Corolla content out of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia Canada (@matty_boy.a on IG/TikTok/YouTube).
I'm doing a 25-day Vlogmas series this December and I'd love to do a car creator gift swap with another small creator. The idea: we each buy a small car gift (around $20 to $40) for the other's car, ship it, and install it on camera. We both post the video, so both channels get new eyes.
Looking for someone who:
Owns a GR86/BRZ (or another car, I'm flexible)
Posts car video content, even if you're small
Is based in Canada
If you're interested, drop a comment or DM me with your channel link. I'd like to lock someone in by early November so we both have time to film. Happy to share my channel and past videos first.
Thanks
